 heheh

that was one big "oops" moment :D

I thought it funny that all WW players immidiately picked up on it (even those not in the game at the moment), while those not playing WW didn't notice anything was amiss. We are a paranoid bunch :p

I find this whole confusion funny. In some games I changed the specific night orders to this general thing. IIRC nobody even commented on it. Yet here, people seem unable to stop commenting on it..... Strange...

the Salem Witch Trials said:
§5a. Nightly orders are handled in the following order:

1. Lynch
2. Protection orders
3. Scan Orders
4. Hunt Orders.

But only the specific order will be known to the GM.

A couple of question:
If the hunter hunts someone who is protected does the victim survive, or do protectors only protect against wolves? If the victim does survive a hunters hunt because of protection does the hunter lose his ability?

Also in relation to the leader trait if there is a tie and the leader wants to use his ability there, he must save both lynch targets? Or is the leader allowed to say A can still be lynched but instead of B I want C dead?

It's only suitable with your title :)

Whoops.. Gotta change that to something unconspicious then...

I'll be the mighty and allknowing Sorting Hat...

There exists a Lord Strange School of Thought (LSST) where you vote the one who posted above you.

The thing with that is that you can then still pick your target, wait until he or she votes and then post your vote :p

The RST (thanks Rysz) means that as long as you have picked your number openly and up front the target of your vote chooses itself ;-)

Of course this might still blow up in my face somehow, but if it does I'm curious to see what it is :)

hmn .. that must be one giant spreadsheet you're tracking there Yoshi :D

I keep it in the blog section.

Oh, btw. The game hasn't started yet but I might as well say this now: I'm gonna vote on the 3rd person to vote once the game has started.

I don't know how much more random I can make my first day vote :p

You can always decide who you want to vote for, then you can just come up with a phony mathematical equation to make it look like it was actually random. *wink wink*

Well I imagine it might be problematic if *you* are the third person to vote... :p
lol

In that case I could either:
a) wait
or
b) vote myself and laugh.

I'm still free to choose.
What happens of that post gets edited is an open question of course but .. like I said, I'd like to see what happens first :p

Yeah, I noticed that. I felt that would be a little bit too obvious though.

The funny thing is, this might actually yield something to analyse - who was afraid to get random votes? :p

Is it kosher to say before the game starts exactly who you're voting for? Because I already know.

Well...not really. We're all open to new schools of thought though. :p

Indeed.

The school of thought is that if I say I'm going to vote for XXX before roles are given, and then I vote for XXX after roles are given, I've revealed zero information.

Which is why we'll all vote for you to get information.

I'll start sending out the PMs with roles soon.
Then we will start with night deadline, thought you can vote for who you want and the winner will receive randomly selected trait as a prize :)
Also, welcome out 38th and last player, Ironhead 5
