Xbox game crash

I've been playing Cities Skylines on Xbox for awhile now. I've never had any problems until recently. The game will randomly crash during game play, no matter how small or large the city is. It's happened a couple times during saving as well. There's no error message or anything. It just freezes up, and goes back to the Xbox home screen. It's frustrating to lose everything you work so hard on. I have auto save turned on every 30 minutes, unfortunately crashes still happen and a lot work can be lost in that time. I have plenty of storage available as well. I'm not sure what's causing the issue. Hopefully a new DLC update will fix this issue.

What map did you use. It happened to me a lot of times it crashes freezes and kicks me out. The map I used when it crashes and all I used 2 rivers map and it was the worse map ever it crashes a lot. I tried auto and manually save game and still crashes. So I used other maps and all is good. I’m already at population of 20,000 people and although disasters came in and destroyed my city lol. But overall everything’s really smooth no crashes. Try a different map Instead of 2 rivers map.
