Xbox Pc Game pass

So, i'm having some issues here.

I'm trying to try a few things, like test out variables and such, which requires cheat to test out the limits easily.

Problem is, on the xbox game pass, the console is off, and can't be turned out. At least not in any way I can find. I spent about 3 hours googling, checking various forums, and such, found dozens of people talking about it, and no actual answer.

So, anyone knows how to actualy enable the console on the game pass version of the game? I tried just about every way i could think off, and nothing worked.

Mods don't work, at all. Loaded 3 mods from the paradox mod section of this site, and one using a special tool to rip them from the steam workshop. The launcher doesn't even see them. I know the folder where they need to be, and I am 100% sure they are in the right place. The game just refuses to even see them. Might have to do with how microsoft handles their apps and how restrictive everything is on there.

Would it be possible for someone to help me figure that out too?

It is a logged bug that you can't get into the console on the MS Store version of this game. This is because it requires a launch option first, and the MS Store client does not provide any way of passing a launch option to imperator.exe . Whether it will or even can be fixed is unknown at present.

I have no idea on mods, I'm sorry; maybe try the User Mods forum?

Thank you for your answer. I ended up just figuring my thing whitout cheat, tho it took about 15 hours of wasted time. I'll just go back to eu4.

So...what did you do to fix it? Currently on the same dilemma.

Also it's slightly irritating when people go "Fixed" without actually describing what they did when future people get here with the same issue

I wouldn't have PDS titles anywhere but Steam tbh. The sub services are good for games you'll play through once and not mod etc not games you want to play for years and years.
