[Xbox] Water and Sewer

So I download city skylines almost three weeks ago and was playing for two weeks straight, I had just got my income to 1,000,000 and my population to almost 16k, I had built everything and laid my pipes to where it reached everyone. On 11/9 I got an update in the morning so I let it update and tried to get back on it with in two minutes of playing it pretty much said my whole town need both water and sewer, I tried delomishimg my pipes and putting them back down and the icons might go away for a second, they always come back. Tried the other towns that my boyfriend and roommate had made and theirs would do the same thing too. I also tried makin a brand new town from scratch and it also says I need that stuff when I have pipes down that reach my people. Tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling and nothin change. Please help me, I love this game and I have been bummed I haven't been able to play it every since!

You haven't told us what platform you are playing on.

But in general you need to link your water and sewer systems, not have two unconnected layouts.

I'm not sure what platform I'm using? I'm playing the Xbox one edition.

After I connected the water to the sewer pipes the icons went away, so that was obviously the problem. I just don't understand why it didn't tell me it was suppose to be like that until I was that far into my town?
