Is that 57mm Bofors with watercooling? Swear to God haven't googled and it's obviously USN that has and had always her own particular preferences.
UPD Should be both post-WWII and an AA-gun by primary application. Too much stuff for a surface-to-surface tube and too much for an austere WWII piece.
I’m no expert, but for what it’s worth,
the photo caption says 40 mm Bofors on a US Coast Guard ship (1945).
Trust a HOI fan to spot the gun first.

Seems like photo caption was right and me not. Never seen a pic of a Bofors/60 or /70 with watercooling shroud on. But I honestly tried to do it withuot prior googling. I should have trusted more the flash suppressor, it's the same as CV90-40.
