I just got Hearts of 2 Doomsday, and I must say that it is well done. I had an idea for a scenario when riding back home from the store. Make a scenario from 1936 to 2100. I have 3 paths that you could take one with a Comintern victory, one with a Axis victory, and of course one with a Allied victory. Except when you are done defeating 2 out those 3 powers you are not done, and you still face crises, and other events. I need a lot of help as I am very new to modding, but with the right people I think we can make this a briliant mod.

It won't work. It's too long time period for Hoi... (for example : each unit type can have only 10 different models....)

Dang it I didn't know that. Maybe from 1936 to 1975.
 
It helps if you actually get some work done and have something to show for it. Just spouting your ideas around isn't going to get you a mod team. Do some work yourself first...

Ok. Like I said I am new to this, and I might need some advice. When I started this I really only wanted people to help me with a few problems, and thats it.

Disagreed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with sharing ideas with the modding community. Let's not go all elitist here.

That's true.
But it's not the best thing to start a huge mod on your own without any modding experience. It's best to start with smaller project, or to enter a team. After you learned some tricks, you can start and lead a project like this.

Yay! It looks like I am going to be doing all the way until 2025.(I changed the date for more accuracy). How do you make new Tecnologies using the scenario editor?

Not that's the only problem. Hoi2 engine is simply not good for that timeframe.
(think about game speed, the economy modell is not good...) So if you manage to make this it will be not much fun. (and think about the work it needes )

And the Doomsday editor is not good to make a huge (total conversion) mod. You have to do everything manually...

I think that you are right. If I am going to make this mod I should probably make this mod using Victoria. Thanks for trying to help me.

Yes, Victoria is the perfect for this idea. Hoi2 is basically a wargame nothing much.

Sorry for bumping, but I was looking around and I saw this.

10 Units? How come? In CORE there are 21 Carrier Models! How come? You can't have model 14.999? You can't have more than one decimal?
