Just my two cents.

I like that you guys are adding China and Japan. But I do have concerns about performance. That’s a lot of new NPC’s the game will have to track. Yeah, legends of the dead added plagues, and that will kinda “cull the heard”. But still… China and Japan on top of already existing CK3? I hope my PC doesn’t die lol.
Maybe a game setting where IF WE SO CHOOSE, turn off areas of the map? Like if we’re playing in Europe, turn off Sub Saharan Africa, or India? IDK if that’s possible but if I’m in China, I don’t need to know about Europe, unless I want that “grandest campaign”. So I’m Ok with turning off Europe for a quick weekend campaign.

Warfare has been getting a lot of flack. But I’ll go against the grain. I like it. I like MAA, I like knights(tho a bit OP) I like Advantage, I like the battle system. That’s all fine.
What I don’t care for tho are Levies. I don’t mean the unit type. Peasants with pitchforks have a place. No, I don’t like “levy contribution”. Put simply, I don’t need my vassals’ levies. I have more than enough peasants, thank you. However, I would love to be able to use my vassals knights, and MAA. But I don’t care for 250 levies from the Duke of Normandy. I want to “levy” 50 of his armored horsemen and 2 of his knights. The Baron of… idk insert small barony… is to small to offer me any MAA? Ok I’ll take one of his knights. The King of Scotland? Oh, I want 3 knights, 200 pikemen, and 100 archers.. not 1000 levied peasants.

Mercenaries?
Get rid of their current mechanics. Let’s go back to formula.
I like that I can augment my MAA with them. I hate that they come with levies. I like that I can keep a company I like on hire. I dislike their cost scaling. Why dose the same mercenary company cost more for an emperor to hire, than a count? I think their base cost should be more expensive than they are now to hire, but they shouldn’t scale.

Holy orders?
Holy Orders are just piety Mercenaries. They shouldn’t be.

Republics.
Yeah I would love to play a republic. Why can’t I?

Catholic overhaul. This turned into a long one.
The Roman Church was almost a Pseudo European Union lite. I’m not saying the pope should be setting trade policy. But that he should play a role in title creation, and legitimacy. Especially when it comes to legitimacy. The pope shouldn’t just be able to excommunicate, and grant claims. He should be able to say “you are not the rightful king of France” and the current French king’s legitimacy should tank. The Catholic Church was the only surviving institution from the Western Roman Empire. And as such they kinda assumed the role of the spirit or will of the Empire. And after Charlemagne if any monarch wanted to become emperor the pope had to give his blessing (willingly or uhh… “Willingly”) Also the fact that any catholic monarch can become an emperor, just so long as they conquered X amount of land isn’t immersive. The HRE was the Empire in the West…The Catholic empire. As opposed to the Eastern Empire. And as such was the only Empire to have an Emperor. That’s why the Spanish and British Empires called their monarchs “King”. They were empires, but their monarchs weren’t “Emperors”. (Insert Mace Windu joke “you may rule your empire, but we do not grant you the title of Emperor”) So I think if you are catholic, you shouldn’t be able to create an empire as easily as it is now(hot take). To create an empire, you should have to jump through a lot of hoops. Perhaps if you mend the schism as a Catholic the pope will allow a second monarch to become the Emperor of the East… AKA the Latin Empire. Now I don’t think Catholics should be barred from creating a title that can have Kings as a vassal. They should still be able to make the game mechanic empire title, but it shouldn’t be called an “Empire”. Probably call it a High Kingdom, with a “High King” in charge. So if I conquer all of Scandinavia as a Catholic king, I can create the “High Kingdom” of Scandinavia. Not the Empire of Scandinavia. If I want that title to be an empire, and me be the emperor, I have to involve the pope. Also I would love to see a College of Cardinals mechanic. And that mechanic should be a very important mechanic for me to influence the outcome of who is the next pope. Also, a crisis mechanic that models the investiture, great schism, large heresies, Anti Popes, and various other types of crisis that happened historically… Plus a few creative ones that almost happened/and or never happened historically but could in game. Such as if the Pope was imprisoned by a infidel or a heathens. Or if Rome was taken. If the Pope succumbed to a heresy. Etc.

sigh.. It has been explained multiple times here on the forums that this will not happen.
A) Devs would have to maintain at last 2 version of the map (at least because if you can turn off newly added map parts maybe there should be an option to turn off the old map instead? Or maybe just africa? Or maybe just europe? Or maybe just east asia?)
B) game engine does not allow changing the map at any point after you actually boot the game up. This could be mitigated by a setting in the launcher itself, but then it would be kind of hidden and annoying to access.
They also repeatedly stated that performance is something they're very much working on and that they will try to at least keep it running as it did before AUH. Now, will they succeed? I kind of doubt it, but that's also as much of an answer to that question as you can hope to recieve, so i really dont see the need to bring it up again and again.

Huh, sounds like you do have a problem with warfare system as it is the sole reason why you dont want levies.....

None of this really requires changing their mechanics though?... You can mod levies out of mercs, increase the amount of MAAs there and remove bonus cost for title tier, none of this is hardcoded or somehow crucial to the mechanic.

Well, good news for you. Republics and Catholic/Christianity stuff seems to be happening next year based on the survey. It had Trade Goods and production lines and College of cardinals.

They will only achieve this Goal, by disabling the AI of all Counts in the entire Game and probably removing Title History for Count Titles.

We are talking about at least 1000 more Rulers on the Map, this will influence the Performance negatively and this 1000 more Rulers will have Spouses, Children and a Court of at least 50 Courtiers(thanks to Court Positions) and every Character who is related to an Ruler above Baron-Tier can not be pruned away, after their Death.
