Hello,

I really have problems understanding what it means to loose in this game.

I have 2 examples where it does not make sense:

1. I am king of Demark, I aquire the title of King of Sweden which I give to my son. When I die, I am told "You Surrendered" . My reaction is "NO!!, my son inherits my kingdoms, therefore I am successful!!!"

2. I am king of both Denmark and Sweden, and my grandson (the son of my daughter) is my heir (because my sons all died). My grandson is a courtier in IDon'tKnowWhich Norwegian county. When I die, again I get "You Surrendered". Agian my reaction is "NO!!! My grandson carries my genes and therefore, him inheriting from me is NOT loosing!"

I have re-read the documentation, and this is not explained in a way that makes sense. Can you help?

What patch are you using ?

When the game was published the king of Denmark in 1066 had another familyname (surname) then his childern, resulting in this kind of thing all the time.

And this sounds just like that bug

So if you haven't installed patch 1.05 do it as soon as possible.

Sorry CSK, but this is true for my second example only.

In the first example, My son has the same surname as me (what else?). When my son is a Duke, and inherits, I don't loose. When my son is a King, I loose. I really don't see why it should be so, this must be a bug.

Here is a real technical support question: I upgraded to 1.05, and within 5 seconds of game, it crashes.

I think I am gong to go and play some non-paradox game, I have had too many crashes before with CK and EU, I don't play for the enjoyement of being frustrated.

Uninstall and reinstall. Read this thread how to uninstall CK.

Sorry to hear, you gave up so quickly. Hopefully you will return to this great game.

Also make sure you start a new game after installing the patch.
