The above is an error message I recieved when I tried to join an MP game on Vnet.
When I shared my version info Apr 21 2005 VPCW, in the game thread, Ozzeh pointed out the following:
Seems I mucked things up when I edited the adj-defs.csv to address a known Karelia movement bug.
After unistalling and then reinstalling EU2 my checksum info was back to what it was supposed to be.
This thread is just a convienent place to store this tidbit of info. When I get an error I like to be able to search on the error message ( or at least key words of it ) and get an answer. When I searched on the words "correspond" and "hosted" I only got game threads. This should provide a direct answer to others who experience this particular issue.

Ozzeh said:The four letters after the "Apr 21st 2005" shit are a checksum, it checks to see if all your main files (.csv and event files for example) are the same as those of the other players. In a 1.08 version with the 21st april beta installed and NO files altered it should read "TZBV". If you do not have that you will be unable to join most games, who do not use altered files.
