With this game adding more infantry combat, it would be so good to add minor factions like Yugoslavian Chetniks, Ustase, Nedicevci and Partizans(so we in the balkans can all have nice battles and chat flame wars ;D LOL) to mix as well. Ustase to have some Bosniak units(i do belive they serve under Ustase),Japanese to have
Provisional Government of Free India
, Manchu and other asian countries, and Greeks, Bulgarians and Hungarian infantry. I really hope they add this with Italian and Japanese dlc. And if they could add Finland with that crazy bike and helicopter(that looks like tv news helicopter) why not this.

A pox on all your houses
Really dude, why you so much hate? I just want these factions to be added i mean come on, for history and variation sake. I don;t hate any of these nations i was just joking about flame wars. There all so mods about does countries in other games, but why not add as dlc or flc in main game.I love old ww2 films about Yugoslavia and all there armies. And why not other contries like Bulgaria, Romania or so. Only typical axis and allied powers are some times getting boring and because wargame red dragon had Yugoslavia and Israel, why not these?

Did any of these groups actually participate in the battle for Normandy? Poland is in because Polish troops actually fought in the Falaise Pocket.

Exactly, Mister Maf. Adding random factions is just going to ruin a large chunk of authenticity. And this time, thankfully, people can't just go "It's a hypothetical war deal with it!"

If I got it right they want to introduce limited modding capabilities to let you add your preferred faction.

Ah, but why do i see in wargame red dragon Yusoslavian troops fighting in china or why do people want Russia as dlc in this if Russians were not in Normandy?
Wargame evolved into a fantasy game as the timeline extended and theatre moved around. It sounds like Eugen is really hammering the historical authenticity aspect with Normandy '44.

....who told you about the War Crimes DLC???
Beacuse you went so rude on me. Am Serb, and here in Balkans we all made mistakes, but i do love to see some variations, and play some of factions from my country and neighbors country. Thats why after Wargame Red Dragon Yugoslavia i like to see more.We Chetniks, Partizans and Croats all did horrible things, but still we had good fighters and soldiers on our side, and i do love old ww2 Yugoslav movies. With cool new infantry mechanics i can recreate some scenes battles from the movies and history.

A campaign as Yugoslavian partisans could be awesome, if infantry is well modeled ingame. Trapping and destroying German armed trains for instance could be exciting.

But that's best part of a game modelling that theatre, rather than Normandy. If Normandy is a success, hopefully it's possible :)

This is the exact reason why I'm extremely excited about this game. Every issue that diluted Wargame in the long run seems to have been identified and eliminated. I really respect the honesty they seem to have with themselves in seeing these issues.

I hope if they ever return to the Cold War, they take a Steel Division approach to it: Germany, 1985. US, UK, W-Ger, E-Ger, and USSR only. Official TO&Es only of units stationed in Germany or quick reaction forces that would have redeployed within weeks. It's my dream.

Glad we understand each other partner;)

Am sorry guy i didn't know because Wargame red dragon i was seend here by Arch warhammer after looking for total war warhammer news and he show me this game and talked about Wargame red dragon(am still downloading) and when i saw Yugoslavia and huge unit roster with all crazy from big to minor awsome sh.t.I really want this game to have yugoslav guerrilla war, because of awsome new realistic infantry mechanics. And i was afraid people dislike because even to this day controversial war crimes during ww2, like in Croatia and some Partisan and Chetnik crimes as well(belive me it was crazy time even show in our war movies, you never knew who of these grupes will knock on your door next)
