Guys please help !

In every version of the game textures of decals and trees flicker and it's quite annoying. I discovered that when in 00_graphics file you change parameter ZNEAR = 1 to ZNEAR = 10 textures no longer flicker. The problem is, changing the value makes the map disapear when you zoom it too much, especially mountains. Here you can see what happens when ZNEAR = 10:

I tried to fix this but i don't know how to do it. Why ZNEAR is equal to 1 ? In other games it is always 10 and it works fine.

Is there any way to fix this problem ? Is there any parameter i could change so zoom wouldn't be broken at ZNEAR = 10 ???

Best regards.

Does this also affect CK3?

Right click on victoria3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.
Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60.

IF that doesn't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/pdx_settings.json .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.log

I see, in that case please make a new thread in Bug Reports on this issue. That is where QA gather and quality reports to pass on to the developers .

All the best!
