We have already covered the topic of Bloodlines, and more specifically historical Bloodlines, in a past Dev Diary, yet marrying into a famous family is not the only way to gain a Bloodline in Holy Fury.

There are quite a few custom Bloodlines that you can found with your own ruler by several different means. Some can be gained through special actions, such as by building a Legend as a Warrior Lodge Hero, others can be unlocked by performing impressive feats, such as being an extraordinarily dedicated Viking raider or restoring Israel.

Finally, if your ruler has very high Prestige (5000 points or higher) and is Duke-tier or above, you will have access to the new Forge Bloodline ambition.

By picking this ambition you will be provided with several paths to create your own custom Bloodline, tailoring it to whichever kind of ruler you wish to be remembered as.

Each path will lead you to unlock a different bloodline, each coming in different variants (for example pursuing the Murder path will lead you to gain one of four different Murder-related Bloodlines). Additionally, if you pursue more than a single path at the same time, you have a chance of unlocking a hybridized Bloodline, with its own unique perks.

And finally, if you take too long to complete any of the initial paths, having the ambition will trigger a special event chain that will allow you to invest resources and select from yet another pool of potential bloodlines, whose pick will be determined by the choices that you make during the event chain itself.

Some of these Bloodlines grant a static bonus, decreasing the chance of vassals joining factions against you, increasing your plot power, or unlocking special buildings for your realms, others grant more dynamic perks, such as special events to facilitate murder or decisions to meddle in your relatives’ private affairs.

I don't quite understand your response, sorry - I feel some of this is very technical.
I understood that it gets transfered to your kids, but I did just not read anyplace how long time it can pass on through a female line for example, like with claims, that seem to disappear after 2-3 generations of female passing through. But it seems that it will continue forever. Unless you lose it somehow - I still don't understand how you can lose it though, besides it has something to do with inheritance. Is it like with claims? That there is a chance that some of your children will not get the bloodline?
If the bloodline is agnatic, all of your children will inherit it if you are male, and your sons will be able to pass it on to their children. If it's enatic, the opposite applies.

Yes, hybrid bloodlines are usually gained when a character is halway through 2 paths.
.
So win 8 wars and then stay at peace for 15 years and enjoy the confusion?

More seriously, is it possible to achieve the 30 years of peace objective as a vassal or is your liege’s wars counting as « not being at peace »?

Does the murder bloodlines care about how you slay your foes? I mean there is a big difference between 30 kills on the battlefield, 30 kills by plot, 30 people offered to Odin, 30 people killed in a duel...

Do you guys have a non spotify link? I can't access this.

Sooo. It's not possible to have some bloodline stacking ? Let's say my dad formed a glorious viking empire by uniting scandinavia, and get a bloodline according to this. Then, myself, I become the most renown viking raider, do I add some bloodline trait to my father's bloodline ?
What happens if I fast forward to 2 centuries later, have a character who is a Norse Christian, do I still get the bloodline bonus from my Vikings ancestors ?

Please try reading the answers that have already been given.

In short:

Yes, you can have multiple bloodlines, and in general they stack.
Bloodlines from the specific mechanic in this DD are called forged bloodlines; you can't take the ambition to create one of those if you already have one. Other bloodlines are not affected.
There is not generally a bloodline for creating an empire.
The Christian descendants of a pagan who gained a bloodline can carry that bloodline, but some specific benefits from it might only work for pagans.

Is it possible for the player to make multiple bloodlines though the dynasty?

Please see this great post just 2 posts up:

I hope you don't mind but I wish to ask something then. Going by the above statements, is it then possible to first create a forged bloodline and then get a special bloodline (form israel, roman empire etc) for the same character?

Edit: Sorry for the question but I'm just wanting to truly understand the mechanics of the bloodlines here.

I don't know - and I don't know if we've been told - whether it's possible for the same character to create more than one bloodline.

Honestly, the most surprising thing in this dev diary is that the Arpad's don't already have a bloodline.

The ambition can only be picked if the character does not already own a forged bloodline. Once your dynasty has forged a bloodline, it will only be able to stack more via marriage (or if your heir loses the forged one).
- will you get an Israel restorer blood line as character who already has family bloodline, for example Solomonid? Or you will be shafted? Those bank loans looks too interesting to pass up... Maybe
it would make sense to add ability to get non-ambition blood lines for such cases?
