So!

Holy Fury is out with all of it’s glory this week!

I just want to say from all of the team that we have been super excited about this release for weeks now and to see the experiences from everyone playing it so far has been so much fun. We’re happy that everyone is enjoying our updates and the things we’ve been tinkering on for the last year.

This week we’ve kept ourselves busy with trying to listen in and gather the things you’re talking about. We’ve noticed a couple of issues that we’re addressing in an upcoming patch, and we are continuing to work on small improvements to make sure the game is in an even better state before going on our winter vacation.

We’re looking forward to hear about your adventures in Holy Fury this weekend! :)

Cheers,

Divine

Great DLC :)

I played around a bit with pagans and noticed I got killed in battlefield events a lot. The PTSD event also fired right away every time. I guess in the future I will first train a bit in the warrior lodge before I lead every battle myself.

Yesterday I did a Sicily game to experience the crusades. I almost managed to inherit Croatia with a great heir. But then the Byzantines declared a de jure war on Bosnia and I foolishly went in with equal numbers. I really should have hired mercs. Stupid mistake. Lost the battle and the war, but I figured I could take it back in my terms. But then somehow an Armenian liberation revolt spawned. On county in actual Armenia. The rest in Bosnia. WTF!? And then they declare some sort of major invasion for Croatia. I might have been able to beat them this time, but all my troops were fighting in Africa. And then my son didn't get a strong claim on the kingdom he lost.
Right after that battle with the Byzantines and my depleted levies the years delayed crusades finally happened. The Christians just rolled over the Muslims. I didn't win, but a family member did.
I quit after losing Croatia. It wasn't an entirely serious game and I mainly wanted to see the crusades. But if I hadn't screwed it up it could have gone places. :)

I also noticed that Sigelgaita of Salerno (wife of Robert Guiscard) is able to be a commander. Not sure if that is new, but it's nice touch

Bug related:
People are reporting the same issues with fired Byzantine commanders that exist or did exist with the council. Commanders leave because they inherit other titles or join a revolt and the game doesn't register that properly. After the same issue with the council wouldn't it be relatively simple to set a flag when someone is removed by actual player intervention and only check for that?

I also see reports that vice kings still don't hand out duchy vice royalties that come back to them. This has been broken since 2.8. Will you look into that?

Thank you very much! I am absolutely overjoyed with Holy Fury - mostly as about two years ago I suggested that pagan reformations be reworked to be more dynamic and that's now in the game. :D So, when can we have dynamically generated heresies using this system?

I'm loving the pagan reformations, but is there any chance we could get more synergies in the future, like totem guardian/ancestor veneration for praising the spirits of prestigious ancestors or unrelenting/bloodthirsty and so on?

Ok, then why kingdom of England uses three lions (which became CoA starting from Plantagenets) not the cross and birds of Saxon dynasty?
Imo it is because England strongly associates with that CoA, just like e_russia with doubleheaded black eagle
I understand your sentiment about the double-headed eagle. We'll consider the double-headed eagle and a possible two-way solution.

I have two suggestions for the next patch:
1. I am asking for 3 fields of "Doctrine" in the reform of paganism.
2. Some coats of arms are black, this mistake is known, but I am also an advocate of fixing this error. If the work is already underway, I'm sorry. These are my suggestions, and if someone felt upset that I'm complaining, I'm sorry

Is there any chance, you could change the CoA of the Slavic Union to, perhaps a Kolovrat on panslavic colours? The current one looks ugly imo.
Other than that you did a great job.

Thanks a lot!
And i am sorry for my spam, but it's really sole sad thing in that great addon.
And many thanks for your job!!

Great job guys! Probably my favorite DLC since Way of Life! You guys rock and I’ve really enjoyed the hours i’ve Put in, even if it meant I became really tired the next morning lol.

I think that I already saw some mode expanding on the doctrine options for reformation.
Because of a weird compatibility thing we didn't encounter the black COA on our own computers but since release we've already fixed this issue so the fix will be shipped together with a coming patch. I don't think anyone gets upset by you notifying us about bugs. There is a sub-forum which is dedicated to bug reports, though, which will also help us keep track of things.

This is probably my favorite DLC since Charlie!
That's fun to hear. :)

I think this has been my favorite DLC since the Norse DLC

Given the Kolovrat's obvious visual similarity to both the swastika and the black sun device, I think that including it would not be a good idea.

If it does turn out that this is the final DLC for CK2, then you went out with a bang. Well done.

What similarity? They're completely different. Not to mention the obvious difference in their meanings.

Great job on the DLC! Loving the random/shattered worlds.

Just looking for a bit of clarification on the 'No De Jure Empires/Kingdoms' setting. Currently using it shows the historical De Jure setup, but as I understand it these aren't formable?

I understand that the game needs De Jure territory to function, so would a more elegant and understandable solution be to set the De Jure Empires/Kingdoms to be a single de jure entity that is the whole map? Maybe as the colour black to help show that it's 'unclaimed territory'. Maybe even call the de jure 'empire' unclaimed?

Been loving the DLC!

I've been playing with the randomizer a lot, and I've noticed that several nomad realms sometimes spawn holding only single duchies. These tiny nomad realms tend to lack manpower and are extremelly weak. Would it be possible to improve the randomizer so that nomads spawn holding a larger demesne?
