Can we have a look at Norways Generals and Admirals please?
Unfortunately most of the portraits are still being made and generals are a bit WIP but here's two cool portraits, if you wanna guess who they are ;)

Hilarious post. I absolutely love how terrible Quisling is, just like IRL.

But my question is, isn't there a King Haakon national spirit? What role will he play in the game?

I noticed the "King's No" focus (also a good movie). Can you elaborate on what it does if the decision to reject Quisling is in another part of the tree?
Some bonuses for defense, Surrender Limit and legitimacy

While you are locked out of the military branch, is this permanent? Or is it for a certain amount of time? Or once war outbreaks can you get it unlocked?
You're locked out of it while you have the Broken Gun spirit, and you can remove it with another focus, but it also removes once you get into a war

Would there any stopgap measure if somehow Britain declared war on Norway first? Would Norway join the Axis and accepted Quisling (hell nah!) or fighting the Brits alone if they didn't want to join the Germans?

Also, expected time to complete the whole focus tree on historical? I expect a 1944 finish.

Mind showing us King Haakon's national spirit? I think he should've been added to the start of the game.

Love the 11th state, would be funny if upon German victory in WW2 Jan Mayen would be akin to Chukchi Peninsula in No Step Back, the last bastion of the original government against the fascists!

Quisling's portrait is so funny, i hope you are using the "set_portrait" effect for him on this one, and hopefully that would be implemented for Mao Zedong too.

I really hope WTT's Reichskommisariat decisions would have an additional check for that one.
The coup should also happen if Britain invades

Time to complete the political part should be before 44 if you take a few shared ones too.

I really like the option to switch to Quisling if things don't go as planned. Although I'm sure shenanigans like 'pre-emptively annex Sweden' will be in the alt-history branch anyway, this feels much better than either artificially boosting the country or switching to an exiled governement.
Oh of course there will be shenanigans >=D

Looks quite exiting! Will there be mechanics for resistance after capitulation, and contributing to the allied war effort? I think historical game as Norway will be very fun with this dlc. Will there be a balance of power mechanic for Norway such as Finland has? If yes, how will it work, and if no will there be another unique mechanic?

The military and industrial branch for Norway looks a bit small and generic compared to the other two that has been showed. Will it give some unique terrain bonuses to the army/navy/airforce as well, or is it more focused on research bonus?

Rikstanken looks great, will be fun to see the other unit models when they are ready :)
Yes, you can continue using convoys to ramp up resistance while in exile, and you will have you exiled army and all that.

For now, no plans for Balance of Power for Norway. There was plans for one at the start but it felt tacked on so decided against it.

Love most of this, but I`m not sure "the click button for modifiers" and then click again for other modifiers is interesting gameplay.
I myself prefer building up the capabilites of the nation I play without to many state clicks.

Perhaps the development of states could be tied to the army spirit, more dev = better movement and defense?

Does this also mean that Norway won`t have a balance of power mechanic?
No plans for a Balance of Power

This looks interesting. I think this might be a close second for my first campaign in AAT. I think the strat to properlly prepare as Norway is to do the military focuses before doing the "Broken Gun" focus so you don't get blocked on rearmament. Can't wait for Denmark, one of my favorite countries to relax with!

Only question I have:

- Will the Allies AI make an effort to active assist Norway once the Germans invade like they did IRL?
Yeah you can totally put off the Broken Gun, but you might not have enough time to develop properly, so it's up to you how to approach that.

Yeah they will assist you, roughly as much as they do in live

Nice job guys, but why sweden and norway don't have any King's national spirit, since both are monarchys at that time? this no makes so much sense you know? Like, every other monarchy in the game have the King national spirit.
In the case of Norway, the king was very liked, but he didn't actually participate in government. He does become a rallying point during the war and after capitulation, which will be represented

Hey if the player picks Josef, can you add the decision to build New Trondheim? And will Reichskommissariat Norway have the same focus tree as Norway or its own focus tree?
The RK will continue on the focuses you saw, and it'll have access to the shared branch as normal
