This is a emergency transmission for anyone out there that might listen.

It seems that almost everyone has failed to arrive to the office this morning, it’s more or less empty. The only ones left are me and Goosecreature. He arrived an hour after me, but there's something wrong with him. His empty eyes just stares into the abyss, it's like he has seen something that took his soul and ripped it to shreds.

My searches of the premises has been unsuccessful, it's like people have just vanished into thin air.

I realize that will sooner or later run out of coffee. I need more time… Help must come… I'm the higher officer, shouldn't Goosecreature sacrifice himself and stick to drinking water? Or do I need to pull an “Old Yeller” on him?

No I can't, I can't be alone…

The palpable, desperate need of the human animal to be with his fellow man. Up there, up there in the vastness of space, in the void that is sky, up there is an enemy known as isolation. It sits there in the stars waiting, waiting with the patience of eons, forever waiting...

I'm hoping that this means an Ichthyoid/Piscoid portrait DLC is being released alongside Banks. If it means that people will now be afraid to open the diplomacy screen in case they see a Street/Space Shark gurning back at them I'm all for it. :p
Got to second this. I feel that aquatic/fish/whale/dolphin people is a phenotype still missing from the game.

This makes me want a late game crisis where entire planets start going vacant overnight all over the galaxy and you have to find what's happening before it's too late.

Still a better love story than Twilight

The quotes I posted were from the 1982 movie The Thing. A fantastic science fiction horror movie. At the end, there were only two survivors, waiting to freeze to death, and the audience is left wondering if one of them has been infected and become the alien.

I think you should just drink less coffee and eat more köttbullar, maybe that will solve the problem :D

Or there is a truly terrifying Blorg, hiding in the cabinet, sneakily luring its prey into a dangerous cuddle..

Cuddles?

OK so seriously, where is today's dev diary???
With 2-3 people in the office, they may not have the material to write a dev dairy.

Nevertheless, the themes of the dev dairy could be taken into account to reveal something.
CK2 dev diaries are like this sometimes, and often hint to upcoming expansions and patches.
