Biggest UI improvement I would like to see: better fleet management tools. It is way too click-intensive to build and then manage large fleets. A fleet macro-builder would be so fetch!
- More story events and reactive narratives that give a sense of an unfolding story as you play.
Damn true! The interface looks like from a pre-release version...Also, in a QoL update, I think it would be time to change the war demands interface, which is horrible. Having to type the beginning of every system you want is not good ergonomy. Instead, let us directly click on the galaxy as when we do when we are adding sectors. To select individual planets, make a dropdown list accessible by right clicking in which we could select the planet we want.
Not true!We need espionage!!
Reworks to war to address the 'doomstacks' issue and make the strategic and tactical layers of warfare more interesting and less micro-intensive.
Not true!
I noticed the lag on Single Player while my friend, who has a much better machine, has no lag. I get 1 or 2 days per second on fastest, while my friend gets a whole month in 5 seconds...Biggest issue? Lag. No idea where it comes from but when it takes 5 MINUTES to cycle a month on "fastest" something is definitely wrong. Having it come and go depending on what you are looking at makes it very frustrating.
In addition to an "upgrade all" button to Armies also one for planets to clear all blockers and build all buildings./ clear tiles.
More ship design options are good.
Where are Supernova's.? There should be 2 or 3 per game obliterating systems after an advance warning to all life to get out of Dodge. Many possibilities here, research projects to prevent it, evacuate, have it leave behind minerals/energy on dead planets etc.
So far the game is EXCELLENT !
