Marty was planning on voting on the_hdk before there where any votes on him, he didn't want to do it too early though. He told me this in PM. Don't ask me why he told me. Maybe because I was the first to say the_hdk was either useless or a wolf.
Anyways, his vote on the_hdk was planned way before it would be counted as bandwagonning. He was actually planning to get people to vote on him, but before he got around to it there where already people voting on the_hdk.

As for Marty's wolfishness, don't ask me. Just trying to give you guys the facts.


As far as my suspicions go, I'm quite tempted to just go back to voting on TT since he wanted to torch me. Cause in all seriousness, you all look equally suspicious to me at this point, so I might as well pick a silly reason to vote.

He's down to one vote and is extremely inactive, with two posts in the whole thread. I'd like to see jonti, hdk, and marty survive this day. Assuming the seer survives, we might end up with some good material in another round or two.

The pm's are essentially what Kaetje said they were, I said it not only to get as much info as possible by waiting until near the deadline to switch to someone with no attention (the-hdk in this case) but more importantly to gain information about Kaetje, I was planning on repeating this on several other people over the coming days.

@the-hdk: To be fair you really were acting quite wolfish though with your vote on jonti and your incredibly flimsy excuse for doing so, I would have had no qualms about lynching you. However I don't think we should now as you received several votes.

The others who would have 3 votes if I voted them, the-hdk is already unlikely to be lynched it seems, and Randakar is undecided so if I voted him it would just mean a 4th vote for me in self defense, so Walrus is the best chance for me to survive. Consider this my defense in advance.

Again. Putting the second vote on someone isn't bandwagoning. But you voted three times, each time for someone else's candidate. Now, maybe you do that as a general strategy (I don't know how you play), but you're not representing very well my argument for voting for you, you're just picking one element of it and pretending that was my whole point.

That's debatable, but anyway your logic really was quite absurd when you applied it certain situations, like saying I bandwagoned Kaetje, when it clearly wasn't in the commonly understood sense of the word.

And I'm saying I never called it wolfish, I called it not good villager.

Therefore it was irrelevant to what we were discussing.



Anyway, here's the pm's, nothing in here I've said that hasn't been told to you by Kaetje already, however there are some interesting things Kaetje said regarding voting EURO and jonti especially, which seem strange, and perhaps the reason why she came forward about them without anyone knowing I pm'ed her would be to prevent the whole content from being divulged, something to consider anyway.

I see you where wondering whether or not to switch to the-hdk. I think that he is the best lynch at this stage and should be lynched, but I propose to hold off voting him until later in the day. It's not like a unconditional pact to snipe to him at the last minute or anything, you, or I, would just suggest a switch to the-hdk and I would follow, and there would probably be enough others to get him lynched, if not then whatever. But I think for the moment it would be better to leave the vote the way it is, or at least leave it to others to make their moves. It's always best to leave the best candidate to last, to make sure they're lynched and to get as much voting info as possible.
Of course depending on circumstances this plan may be completely impossible to work/unnecessary/too suspicious looking, so it's just a suggestion atm.




Before you immediately call me out as a wolf, think why a wolf would risk something like this - when none of their packmates are in any danger, (of course I can't know what the vote will be like tomorrow afternoon so trying to save a packmate before I could know if he needs to be saved, or how to save him, would be impossible), and when something like this could easily be suggested in the thread without arousing any suspicion - for really no reward at all.



If you ask why I'm so confident that I a plan like this would work, I'm really not, I'm just bored and I want to try I haven't done before.

You know, at this point in time I actually think we should vote for HAL9000. Which I have done now. Let's see what the GM says about that. If he doesn't agree I'll try and steer votes towards jonti late this afternoon.

the-hdk has already received votes so I don't think there would be any point in my plan now, we could try someone else like jonti but tbh I would only want to do it on someone who is properly worth lynching, and the only person so far is the-hdk
I wouldn't try to lynch jonti IMO, if you're going to do it all make it someone who hasn't received any attention so far

To anyone who thinks my behaviour is wolfish, consider if you would do this as a wolf in this situation. If I am not lynched then I am pretty much guaranteed to be scanned tonight, therefore for a wolf to do what I did would be tantamount to suicide. I ask you to use your heads and look at the underlying motivation, and not lynch someone just because they do something different from your normal experience, that's called xenophobia I believe. Thank you.

The jontiwagon really should be treated as unusual. There was no good reason at all for that taking off as it did. There was no argument behind it, just a joke first vote, a noobie (who might not have known any better) following up, and then two votes from people who picked jonti based on a fixed system.
