Okay I downloaded Revision 2 overwrote the files it replaces, fired up Germany 1933 (after I patched it with my Oil Plant fix - still not working in Rev 2) and I get this Vatican and Parish Donation Event that keeps annexing one and other revolts and then is free. Has happened like 5 times all ready and I am posting screen shot of this. Seems to me its a "phantom" country.

I also had event trigger at start with this Parish Donation thing. Never seen that in previous revision and I think is what is causing this on going events between the Vatican and Parish Donation. Made me choose something that I guess helps with events cant remember.

Also where in the heck is the Vatican State on the Map? I would assume its in Italy since this is what the Vatican City? I see no province hex for Vatican State only San Marino and you could miss that little spot easy! :)

Anyways, I might just have to go back to Rev 1 if this event keeps firing off. Plus in my previous post on Oil Plants, they are not working again in 1933 scenario have Global Energy Crisis 2! :confused:

Well I will try to keep playing this new Revision and see how far I get and report any other strange things.

EDIT: Just had the Vatican State Annex the Parrish Donation! Here is the screenshot of it. 6th time so far and its only May 1933! Please fix this, dont know what you all added but this was not present in Revision 1 at all. Thanks again.

tigeriii.. how do you make a screen shot ? i was told to use the F11 key.... noting at all happens and as you know a picture is lots easier than having to describe in very great detail what one is trying to portray to some devs about a game function usually.

I dont use F11, I just press my "PrtScn" button, paste it in MsPaint, save it as a Jpeg, then when you open a thread click on "Manage Attachments" below (I do most of my replies in Advanced mode) then a new Upload Manager will appear. Tell it where your screenshot is saved upload it and then paste it in your thread.

Make sure you put your cursor in your thread message where you want the image to appear otherwise it goes to the top of your message. Well it does this for me maybe not others, but thats it.

My issue is trying to clear out the Upload Manager, I dont see a 'delete' button to clear out all my old screens and you only get like 10mb I think to hold screenshots, thus why I save my screens as Jpegs. Hope this helps.
 
Regarding the annexation event, I'm at work and can't check documentation but that would be an ongoing annexation that forces the game engine to update unit stats. This is an old, well established work around in the HOI2 engine to force the game to update unit stats that are changed by tech or event.

You should change your notification settings so it only shows in the game log.

Like I said, I can't check IC official documentation to see if it is mentioned there.

Okay thats cool seems strange why it is an event, but I will turn it off from popping up.

Now Daboo, what gives with the Oil Plants? I started new game after copying the revision to AoD + IC folder and I watched for weeks the same thing happen in Revision 1 with the major powers lost 1100 energy or more daily with the Oil Plants. I even went into my saved game cfg file and commented out all the plants you guys kept in and said you had it fixed with AI. Its not working for me at least. Would like to hear feedback from other forum members on this as well.

Daboo, I also read your list of tech fixes and I still see in the tree for SpArt the wrong OOB for it. I also wanted to know if there is a reason why the Pz 38t is still not able to research before a Pz IIIM? In history that was other way around actually. Not a huge issue here but if the stats for the Pz 38t is more then a Pz IIIM then there is a serious design flaw with the tech tree as far history goes anyways.

I am still playing, in 1934 now and I wanted to abandon Naval Doctrines for Germany so that I could get research "Sea Control" instead of Germany's only path of "Commerce Raiding" and that does not work either. I sure hope I did something wrong in my install process but all I did was overwrite Rev 1 with Rev 2 and started new game.

Please when you have time look into this because I know others will catch it if it is an issue and I am sure other people will find more issues as they play, hopefully not but so far I have found 3 maybe more. I will keep posting them here. Thanks again.
 
I could read mention a little mess up between the war economy and the peace economy science. I do not remind having read the outcome of the discussion though. Still, could you people please double check on this? You still get a great peace IC bonus with the war economy which in fact, given a start in 33, is pretty much interesting for every nations.

The techtree now implements this option, but it's diabled via the scenario file ($gamefolder\scenarios\193x). Search for "deactivate = {" and remove the techs you want to research.
Sadly this is WAD, because the developer want a fixed doctrine path for the major nations. I didn't look up the new techfiles regarding the comparablility of the different doctrine paths, I hope they are adjusted for a fairer gameplay.

EDIT: Btw. iirc commerce raiding was the only superior naval doctrine for Germany atm. I really wouldn't recommence to change this one. The other two are better choices ;).

You don't need do that

For example in land doctrines with germany, abandon your doctrines (except ww1 doctrine). Start again the Bewegungskrieg, and cancel the project (in the moment, you don't need wait for one day). Now, you can select the other techs ;)

WOW, thats, what I call an exploit ;). But thank you I didn't know that, saves the time editing the scenario files.
Is it possible to change the scenario files to allow tech-switch in the next fix/patch?
 
Still cant built Rocket Test Center. AoD 1.05.

Click right in the province, and build Rocket Test plant

In Iron Cross only AA, radar and synthetics plants can be building in production panel. The others, you need produce in province (like the industry)

This event doesn't fire in my games (AoD1.05). What is the events ID and where can I find this event in the files?
 
Thanks to the Devs for creating IC. Keep up the good work. I started a new game as Germany and hoped that the income from manpower has been fixed, i.e. not being neagtive anymore with Rev 2. I recognised that this is not the case so my question is as this is a bug or "works as designed"?

In AoD add. mp gives extra money but currently doing diplomatic actions is very limited with the negative mp-income. I am on AoD 1.05.
 
Bumping my question, since I really want to start a real IC game today ;). Where can I find the event with the Vatican getting annexed ?? It does not fire in my games (AoD1.05) and I want to look at the trigger and if necessary trigger the event myself.
 
I started a game as Germany in 1933, no Vatican event fired at all. Then I reloaded the game and the Vatican event came up on my reload right when I started. Since then it fires constantly as well, so you may need to just save and reload your game to get it to fire.
 
The annextation event is only for Arma users, AoD users don't need it.
Infrastructure improves IC in a province, but it improves resources also?
