as for the voices: i probably would like them if they wouldnt occur so often. but thats the game, not Titans fault.

and Hister said it already:
"You need to check folder by folder and understand what goes where and if suitable. I did this and I can say I'm experiencing this game to the fullest extent possible due to this so I encourage you all to do the same. It's a lot of fun actually since you decide on your own what suits you well and what not - it's a total personal custumatization (sp?)."
Heh, thanks bestmajor :) .

The remark made by Hister is 100% true, by the way. The only real problem is that many people don't have the knowledge and/nor the time or will to do such a thing... so there have to be already complete mods which require no additional work from the final user in order to be enjoyed ;) (which is, in fact, perfectly understandable).

oh well those few people in this subforum have usually the knowledge or a backup or both i think.
true those drop ins are popular and easy but if its for me i'm always very picky and hardly drop in anything.

That's true for me as well, best - it's just that I can't blame people who don't want to spend too much time in order to make their "own" mod by picking out things they like the most.

This is where the Tripartite Pack comes to their aid, at least in the audio/graphics compartment ;) .

ok, well thats true. maybe its just that with the leaderpics i experienced far to many mistakes and mis IDs (even in my own stuff). that really made me a bit sceptical about drop-ins.

I read you. Same for me with e.g. mismatched aircraft models. You'll concede that not everyone has the patience to do this kind of things, though ;) .

I can make a pack of TP which is suitable for core mod but the problem is I have also stuff that is not from TP but from other mods. Would need some time to get permission from all the mod leaders and that is again a lot of work. You know what, I'll just delete stuff from the TP mod that isn't suitable for CORE and ask Titan to publish it in the first post of his.

How does that sound?

I'm definitely enjoying this mod. I've accidentally managed to install this one over CORE AND SMEP at once, but so far, besides one Iraqi expeditionary force discovered in the Danzig corridor, has been playing fine.

Thanks! By the way, I don't think the TP can be blamed for that Iraqi exp. force: my mod alters no AI files whatsoever. That issue is most probably due to the overlapping of CORE and SMEP files which, as far as I know, are not compatible with each other.

EDIT:

New Corrections, with some minor tweaks, uploaded (modded a couple of interface buttons).

Can be grabbed from the 1st post in this thread, as usual.

wouldnt it just work if you eg copy the TPP stuff in the main folder and the gfx from CORE in the moddir?

ah cool, i was thinking about this myself but gave up after 23 seconds. did you mod the + and -? http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...-in-Colour&p=12906717&viewfull=1#post12906717

having them a bit brownish or beige would be nice.

Yey! 3 new icons, correct?
6, to be precise (buttons, but I guess you meant that by writing "icons"), but:

-one of them isn't recognized by the game (I've reported it in the Bug reports subforum);
-three of them have been only slightly tweaked.

Exactly, bestmajor. There's no need for Hister to do anything: it is enough to just take all of the contents of the TP without the models folder and the models.csv file and copy that over CORE. Simple as that ;) .

No, I modded some other buttons (see the bottom of the readme in the Corrections file to see which ones).

By the way, request noted... will be fulfilled in short ;) .

P.S.:

..why just 23 seconds...?!? :p ;)

uh, before we spread misinformation here, just from what i remember CORE is just using default icons? better leave these ones out or wait for Histers comment (i dont have CORE installed right now)

well i was a bit enthusiastic after my "Attackplatta" tweaks and thought i'll change some other things as well. when staring at all those buttons i just thought going into a pub would be an even better idea. the whole process of staring and thinking lasted appr. 23 seconds LOL.

Well it's not as easy as to just take out the models folder and the models.csv and copy the remaining stuff from Tripartite Pack. A bit more work is needed to provide proper compatibility.

Stuff deleted from Tripartite pack to ensure CORE stays the way it's meant to stay:

all province pictures (Ill_Prov_x),
some flags,
Auxiliary.bmp,
hoi_counter_strip
models.csv,
bg_front_end.bmp,
bg_start.bmp,
load_1024.bmp,
models folder,
province.csv

I've added custom hoi_counter_strip that Titan made especially for CORE and is not included in the Tripartite pack or in CORE mod by default.

I've assembled Tripartite Pack adjusted for CORE which I uploaded here for all those people that are not sure what needs to be done in order to merge TPP with CORE.

Extract it and then copy stuff that is inside the "Tripartite Pack for AoD" folder in the "C:\PC Games\Arsenal of Democracy\mod-CORE2\" folder (I've given an example path - your's probably differs but what is important is that you copy this stuff into the \mod-CORE2\ folder). Overwrite when asked to. Play and enjoy CORE mod with Titan's mod.

Ha ha, I know the feeling! But how could you work on all those thousands of leader pictures, then...? :D ;)

Yes, as a matter of fact, there are a couple other things which need to be addressed in order to make the TP fully CORE-compatible...

Well it's not as easy as to just take out the models folder and the models.csv and copy the remaining stuff from Tripartite Pack.
...just as for (almost) every other mod. I've recently done the same thing for Gringoesteban's Third Reich Mod: a TRM-compatible TP to play his mod with my enhancements.

well, those are not only gfx but a mix of gameplay, gfx and history if you want. and i'm not only interested in those leaders because of HoI/AoD/DH.
as for plus and minus, i think this was never much interested in those in RL (except + on my bank account)

You are welcome bestmajor.

I don't know how long will the link be active so if Titan wants to upload it on his own and add it on the first page of this thread means this little work of mine won't be for nothing. :eek:o ;)

hey Titan, i manage to change the background themes for Japanese Player, by changing the color tone to grey scale. I did that sidebar, bottom panel as well background theme, look much better and wont get too much color blending to foreground. Also glad you put that secondary loading screen on jap folder, didnt want that german plane there while loading up.

I'm glad you found a way to better suit your tastes - of course, the TP is based on mine but not everyone might like every single feature of it.

I have to say, however, that I'm a bit surprised by you changing the loading screen: IMHO that Bf 109 is really incredible, as it shows the Luftwaffe's mastery in the art of camouflage... but I also guess you play primarily with Japan, so the b/w carrier-deck background is probably more suited, in your case.

Happy again to know you picked this mod, by the way :)

It's December 1945 in my "Frankenstein" AOD/CORE/TRI game, and things are going nicely.

BTW, can you identify the little dork standing next to Hitler and the big guy on the right? I've never seen that photo published anywhere. Thanks.

Can you be more specific please? I don't have a slightest clue what picture you mean.
