I'm pretty sure one the developers said the event was working as intended, it just fires up for the wrong guy. At the moment I just ignore to expose them and send ninjas instead... My vassals that is.

That's a very serious problem indeed... working hard to get honor high but you're constantly attacked by ninjas or facing internal revolts you have no defense against. You might have a good go if you could hurt the honor of the plotter and revoke some of his lands to make him less powerful (or even force him to commit seppuku). This thing with the player losing honor HAS a meaning though.
If you have no grip on your vassals you'll be seen as weak so I approve my loss of honor when I expose the plotter (if he's my vassal) however his honor should drop consistently... historically, I don't think a TREASON in Sengoku period was treated lightly. Sppuku is the way... so I don't know if it's a good idea to REMOVE the honor loss from theplayer when he exposes an internal plot against him.

I am more concerned about the shutdown problem. Something changed with 1.2 but in full detail my laptop still shuts down (1024*768). The very same setting in windowed doesn't shut down... I don't understand... the legacy mode, hell I hate it, the map looks awful. Help me devs, pleeeaseeee.

By the way, when is next DEV diary update coming? Curiosity killed the cat.

MEOOOW. :)

Please post that as a report in the bug forum and attach your logs and DXdiag for when the crash occur.

All focus right now are on getting the 1.03 patch out to you guys ;-)

I already did that (you can find my post wit DxDiag report attached in the Tech forums). It looks like the laptop shuts down for overheating but I can't understand why when I am at maximum detail level in windowed mode it doesn't happen, while it does happen (100% of times) in ANY detail setting when I am in full screen (except the legacy mode which I haven't tried yet because the map looks so awful I'd rather play windowed and legacy off).

Not too important, really.

I was reluctant to as well, but I've found it quite useful. I follow all the Paradox folks and obtain updates that I would otherwise miss out on.

Its so much easier to tweet out small information to everyone. Discussions are for forums, twitter is for "broadcast short message"

My game just updated itself via steam to 1.03. :) Feels good.

Steam makes it so easier to do patch distribution. I wish we could do steam-only versions.

Actually it should be the job of the OS (Windows) to provide a package manager... ;) Looks like Win8 will finally go in that direction.

Compared to posting them here?!

*pretends he didn't hear Johan* Naaa naa naaa :p

It must not all be cream-filled pastries and unicorns, considering how long it took the Steam people to get the first patch, compared to us regular folks.
