So I'm suspicious because I named a candidate to look at then went to bed? Interesting, here's another one...

My best suspects so far:

Kingepyon
Hdk
Najs
Trespoe

and EL, by the reason I referred in the previous post.

Discuss. I've got some work to do, be back later.

Is this suspicious? Naming a candidate and then leaving?

I did the same thing last game. Named a couple candidates then had to go to class. There is NOTHING suspicious about naming a candidate, especially when I made it clear that I didn't know if I was going to vote them. I suggested he be looked into more, and then left. I DIDN'T put a vote on him, because I didn't examine all the cases.

Also, it seems that I'm suspicious because I lived through a lynching. Really? Who are the 2 people with the most attention so far: Eternaly_Lost and myself. Why? I can't really see any other argument against us other than we survived a day where we were run up. We're looking at the same people over and over again. And we're going to lose because of it.

Now, we need to look at the people who haven't attracted any attention over the last few days. The people who happily come in and place a quiet vote that doesn't get them noticed are more likely to be wolves than someone who lived through a lynch and suggested a candidate.

Let's take a look at Nautilu and Boris. Both came in and put a vote on their respective targets in day 2 without much of a reason. They already had votes, and no one was really making a big deal out of the fact that they were continued to be pushed ahead. Especially in E_L's case where he had 5 votes before snoop had 3. The last 2 votes on snoop are also suspicious. Blatant bandwagoning. the_HDK may have switched off, but that didn't change the fact that he pushed up E_L as a target, and then switched once snoop caught up.

If we want to find wolves, we need to look for people who are not standing out: Najs, Boris, Nautilu, Mr. G. Wolves don't like to call attention to themselves, they like to stay hidden. Because of this I doubt that taii, reis and randy are wolves (though saying the case against me is clearcut is pretty bad).

At this moment, though, I have to go to school. I hope this gives people something to think about and I'll continue when I return.

I have so far been rather inactive due to very personal reasons. That is all I will say on that matter.

ok I just woke up (dont look at me that way............it was a power nap :D)
we lost our best asset guys. We need to get more active. right now we are going to lose if we keep this up.

we still have a few good hours. we need to take a look at what to do. and when in doubt I always say go for the zombies. It will help the village in the end.

Interesting, but trespoe yields no information if he is not a wolf, while nautilus or mr g would... On you, now, as well, if we lynched nautilus, because you are diverting attention away from him.

Activity isn't measured in posts. I have said who is the wolf and why, but you are not listing...

Well activity is not mesasured in posts, it does give a good tread between the two. Assuming that the post are at least partly on topic.

So I am more active if I repeat the same arguments over and over again? I will not waste people's time.

Thank you for your kind mercy. The thing is, I've seen no-votes being skillfully used by EURO, as much as it pains me to praise him. And accidents happen. I completely lost track of time and thought I already had a placeholder.

I advise a two strikes, you're out policy, though, unless you think that no-vote tactics such as the ones EURO has employed in the past are gamey.

Not in lite. Subs or autolynch should be the only results of no-votes in lite.

No, you're suspicious because you're so obtuse about it.

Is this suspicious? Naming a candidate and then leaving?

It's pretty bloody annoying, that's what it is. If people have a case, they should spill it, not just throw some names up in the air and then vamoosh.
If not for his attempted "wolf trap" a few days ago I would not consider him a bad suspect at all.

Well, you do have a point there. EL is a pretty good wolf chew toy by now. I guess the same applies to you.
Can we afford to let you live now, though?

Reis is pretty much always talkative. In fact, if anything, I think he's been less talkative than usual.
Taiisataii, I sort of agree, but for entirely different reasons.

I don't think there is much attention on Nautilu to begin with.
Yes, Nautilu is one of a bunch of inactives we have in this game. Yes, he deserves to be run up. Just like the others.
But right now, nobody is even voting him. What are you proposing? That we lynch nautilu because he's not been doing anything all game? Or that we lynch the_hdk?

Frankly, I hate the level of inactivity in this game from various people. They deserve to be lynched for that. However, with this many inactive targets there's no telling who of them are wolves and which of them are the real deal.
It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't type situation. We can't afford having inactive villagers - we can't afford giving the wolves easy scapegoats. But we can't allow inactive wolves to hide like that, either.

Activity isn't measured in posts. I have said who is the wolf and why, but you are not listing...

Well, if the count looks the way I think it looks, *nobody* is listening.
Can someone get off their lazy arse and make a count, please?

Activity isn't measured in posts. I have said who is the wolf and why, but you are not listing...

where? :S

and yes you are right ina way. but if an average poster has 15 posts and a player has only 5 than hes rather inactive ;)

@Tai yes you are right but you forget that there are too many players we have NO info on at all. as we havn't lynched a wolf yet we practically have nothing to go on. so we need to get as much votes on as much players.
AOK;'s style of play actually comes really handy in our situation.

If not for his attempted "wolf trap" a few days ago I would not consider him a bad suspect at all.

Never said I had a case, I said he should be looked at. When I looked at taii when I came back, I doubted his wolfiness. When I have a case against someone I usually follow said case with a vote. I just wanted people looking at taii specifically. I wasn't saying "he's a wolf and we should vote him" just "he's being kind of odd and we should look at him"

And as for the "wolf trap", that's annoying bad evidence for him to not be a wolf. If he was a wolf, he could have just told his pack what was up and made it look like he was doing something so no one twitched.

Well, you do have a point there. EL is a pretty good wolf chew toy by now. I guess the same applies to you.
Can we afford to let you live now, though?

Yes, because I'm not a wolf. There are people who to vote for who are a better choice than myself. Like the people who are trying not to stand out.

NOTE: Not standing out is NOT the same as being inactive. Inactivity is a silly reason to vote someone. Yakman is inactive, but with his response to why he voted E_L yesterday, he stood out. Wolves tend to dislike standing out, which is why I didn't list Yakman as someone who is not standing out.

Reis is pretty much always talkative. In fact, if anything, I think he's been less talkative than usual.
Taiisataii, I sort of agree, but for entirely different reasons.

I agree. I'm going to be posting a follow up on my previous post now that I have time.

I know I said that reis is an unlikely wolf in my previous post, but I have rethought my argument (the hazards of being rushed). Before I said that reis was doing a lot of analysis, so he was unlikely a wolf, but I forgot to measure the quality of analysis. Analysis that usually results from a skewed perspective usually belongs to a wolf.

Now, before I make my argument I'm going to post a few things first:

And Taii, although I do agree with you, that there were wolf fingers in yesterday's pie (which could be yours, as you stick them deep into the pie), I would rather go at those who shifted things around instead. EL has good odds of being a wolf, and it could be that his packmates panicked when people started to follow my lead. Perhaps they hoped to alibi vote, and suddenly found EL in danger. However, there's also the possibility that wolves messed with the lynch to have the villagers believe that there were wolves in contention. Apart from that, I have no further qualms against running up EL.

So out of the 2 candidates from yesterday, Reis agrees that E_L is a good target, but disagrees that snoop was a good target (if you can point me to the warning, that would be great - I've looked but I can't find it during day 2):

Also, thanks a lot to the mindless villagers who did not heed my warning before running off to lynch snoopdogg. You just made our task way harder.

But, when E_L doesn't get lynched, he starts to claim that:
F***, lost track of time. Apologies for the no-vote. Now, I need to look up a certain Lite game, where EL, randy, myself, and johho (?) were packmates, and something similar to what is happening now with EL took place, and ended in a Stalingrad.

So you were advocating running him up (or at least ok with it?) and now you're saying that because he was run up twice and saved twice we should be wary, because running up the same people over and over can be bad for a village? While I admit that could be suspicious, the initial pile on E_L made it a lot less likely that E_L was a wolf. E_L received 5 votes before another candidate had 3. Very rarely do wolves get run up that quickly unless they're outed. If anything, we should look at The_HDK who decided to join the E_L wagon, and then switch off to save E_L. That, in my mind, is significantly more suspicious than living through a couple times being run up.

Now that I'm done with that little tangent, Reis, while he is suspicious of E_L (who has lived through 2 lynches) decides to go after me (after warning us about running up the same people over and over).

I think the most suspicious person here is reis, as his actions are starting to contradict his statements that he has made previously, and following him will result in a day 4 with no wolves lynched and no information to work with.

This is NOT good. guys! come on I want to win!

as nobody followed me on tres (seriously guys, I got 2 wolfs this way last game so there might be something there :p)

unvote tres
vote Nautilu

a 3-way tie. I do this with hope to get this village more active!!!!

FYI I do not want ties. pies are ok though.

Here King, check this Lite out.

Nevertheless, King, if you voted to save Eternaly_Lost on the two past days, it is you who must explain why you did it. As you know, villagers, with exception of JL, don't have any good reasons to prefer lynching one guy over another on day 1, and much less reasons to insist on saving someone throughout the whole game. That sort of behavior led to the Stalingrad I linked above.

Don't mind if I take this ship, do ya? WOOOHHOOOOO!!

Anyway, of the three candidates, Nautilu is the worst one to get a handle on. Every game I think I've played with him he has the same MO, posting votes with little to go with it. It works whether he is a wolf or villager, so....

Kingepyon... what was the case again? I need to look that over. Being on Reis' list?
Reis... the maker of the list?

Vote hdk

don't read anything into that. I just want to make sure I have a vote in. I will look further into this after dinner.
