Maybe in Mount Athos? Orthodox monks have become the Church powerhouse and now almost all Patriarchs are monks from Mount Athos!

I've temporarely relocated him to Ochrid. Mount Athos is currently in Sol Invictus territory. :(

Making buildings destroyed on conquest still doesn't work (via occupied modifier). My original solution of having a gazillion buildings tied to culture group does not only take forever +1 to implement but bloats the building file to infinity and beyond...not to mention it might add to performance issues... so if anyone knows a simple solution to building destruction on conquest please tell me.

Ok, seeing that I can't make buildings self destruct on conquest the easy way, I'm going to cave in and do something that will please some - I am going to make a temporary "BLC ultra ultra lite" fix for those with BLC memory/performance issues. Once I'm done with that I'm going to post it.

Ok I've done a first attempt at a BLC ultra lite implementation - so those having memory/performance/BLC issues -download this file and overwrite (make backup) the exising file in your Lux Invicta folder\interface\

I MAKE NO GUARANTEES this is 100% perfect, but it runs for me with no issues as far as I can see. If people need further cuts I'll make them but this already drasticaly improves performance and ligthens memory load.

You'll still keep the normal version for those without those issues, right?

Yes. I'm just adding a quick download/overwrite option for those with issues.

I've been spending about an hour now trying to make a custom CoA for Seleucids... Good thing I've got my priorities straight. :rofl: Might as well sneak in an Arche Seleukeia creatable empire somehow hehe. On the upside = I'm going to release an update later today for sure.

Sounds good Shaytana. Any progress on the 1080 crash? :)

Sadly, no.(I'm not crashing at 1080) I've changed quite a few things and fixed some stuff...I'm hoping there's an outside chance that crash got solved in one of those fixes.

This. A thousand times this. I would love this mod even more if you made an Arche Seleukeia Empire.

Anywho, sorry for not posting in the topic before, been busy. Are you going to turn this into a full overhaul one day? Or still just what it was prior. I'll try out your new release version when it's released.

I'm slowly overhauling things - sadly it takes ages ;). But the first step on overhauling things will begin today given I've implemented a lot of new buildings... so today you get to test an incomplete alpha version of my buildings system.

I've found a major bug while not actually looking for it. :rofl: (I was checking for something else) I'm hoping that it might have been related to that crash. I'm also thinking of implementing a hellenistic Empire - any suggestions on name? Arche Hellenia? :p

I don't know. Arche Hellenia sounds fine

But can titles be created on the basis of dynasties? Like a dynasty can only create that kingdom or empire? Because I was looking at all the different characters, are the Dukes of Cyprus related to Alexander the Great? And are the Kings of Kreyte (Idk, the North African Kingdom) related to the Ptolemaic dynasty? If so I would love a Ptolemaic Egypt Kingdom, or return of Alexander's Empire

Also could you make a title kingdom, or de jure, of Magna Graecia in Southern Italy, that would be so awesome!

something like Koino ellinwn would be great bro or Panellinia Simpolitiea as well :D.I am happy to see that you returned full of energy and good tempered to make favour for all of us the constantly grudging

@keytool

I'll look into dynastic imperial titles in the future.

Those characters are descendants of their respective dynasties yes. Most Hellenistic dynasties have a descendant hiding somewhere.

Magna Graecia was implemented in my working version a while back :)) Kingdom of Sicilia was split into 2 dejure kingdoms - Siracusa and Magna Graecia.

@mike the knight

Next update I will most likely implement a hellenistic empire (not this one) so I'll think of those titles as well.

Then I'd just like to say you are my hero, and I'll be sure to add the divine blood flag to the Ptolemaic dynasty when you come out with the new version, follow my own imperial cult, and retake Egypt from the invaders

Hehe thank you, in this reality even Parmenion managed to sire a lasting line... Alexander didn't kill him or Philotas... His descendants kinda changed culture over time though. ;)

I'm currently fixing some stuff and editing some buildings in... I'll post the update later tonight.

I'm pretty much done, but I'm going to balance a few things before I upload this version. I noticed that the ERE is thoroughly unstoppable, am looking into nerfing it atm, I also need to do something about Gurzil berbers losing 100% to the Muslims.

As long as the expansion is not ireversable i wouldn't mind the ERE gaining some ground since they have a larger focus in the mod's lore as far as i understood ;)

They will be balanced to potentially become a great power... right now they are simply unstoppable. On observe they just steamroll everything. I don't like the fact their initial wars are won by default.

Maybe you could limit their religious casus beli? :)

some religious related negative modiefiers causing revolts would be good to ma ke the job ;) think about it and about the Gurzil reinforce the power of the sand bro :D and give them some terrain modifiers for help ( traditionally desert tribes were very difficult to submit)
