Then Japan would obviously need an overhaul as well as it can't go up against a 50IC China.

I donnot think that this would be necessary.

But this could just be a vicious domino effect where all majors have to be edited to balance this all out so it might not be worth changing China's IC and resources overall. :)

Japan tends to be underpowered compared to the USA.

Devs, take a peek at CORE in case you haven't yet - there IC, resources, infra nad other stuff is distributed in historically appropriate manner. Might help you with the workload.

Just noticed a minor thing with update 8:

When playing as Cuba the tooltip for interventionism does not display any information whether you can join alliances or not.

Furthermore Cuba is a democracy, but the DOW option is available (the setting is "democracy can declare war = OFF").

Afaik that is WAD. The aggression required for DoW depends on democrazy and intervention. If this value i "below" zero democrazies can declare war on everyone.

Just loaded the 1944 scenario as USA; they have the same interventionism value as Cuba in my game. They, however, have a tooltip that says, they can offer or join alliances and they can start a war when the opponent has 50 Belligerence. So what am I missing?

Democracy slider is in the middle, but the tooltip says we´re a democracy (gvt type is Social Democrat).

Flavor value and its a province with 6 V points value. its optional not a demand.

Forget Naples, better add a picture for Brest-Litovsk. Also should be a level 1 fort there.

What I would like to see is once M-R Pact - Eastern Poland to the Soviets triggers, an event should add a locked garrison there, with three divisions: Inf-Art, Inf-AT, Inf-Eng. Maybe even 6 divisions. What do you think?

Excuse me -- but there should NOT be a picture of a city unless the provence is urban. Even Rome should be replaced with a normal hill picture since it is not urban.

From the start on?

Yes, the fortress was there already.

Paris is plains still it has picture since HoI2.

IMO pictures should have the provinces with historical significations, where important events or battles took place.

* Brest-Litovsk ok.
I vote for Paris and Rome keeping its picture. It was historical important city even if not grat battles toke place. Its an objective city. Aod is also about changing history.

Mexico city should have urban status not mountain.

I vote for using the 52 BC picture for Paris (year of it's founding). The picture is meant to reflect the terrain. Even if a picture of the skyline was used in HOI2, it don't make it right.

In 1940, would Mexico City have been considered urban? I doubt it. Anyway, the structures then would have been a lot of wooden shacks (no offense intended). Not much of a military obstruction. But the mountain was still there.

Anyway, a number of people here over the years seem to be offended by incorrect spelling of places. I for one have my pet peeve -- the Columbus territory should be spelled "Cincinnati". In 1940 Cincinnati was the largest city located in that province. It had twice the land area and twice the population of Columbus then. As Casey Stengle used to say -- "You can look it up."

Improve the map features by separating vegetation/urban from terrain. That way you could have hilly jungle instead of just jungle or just hills. Having a mountainous urban province would be no problem then.

Code:
\config\privince_names.csv
		PROV628: Columbus changed to Cincinnati.

This is waht it just did. How about the last entry? It has a spelling i cannot sort in.

Edit: Changing this did only change the spelling of the province, but not the name on the map. :(
