Xenomorphii

Any serious ideas for such a candidate? Not based on pure ranting, that is.

From anyone?

I personally am willing to enterain Xarkan. He did get us a wolf, but then we had 2 nights of no hunts. The first might have been a GA protect on but I think that the second might have been a curse turn on him. I really don't see the wolves not hunting him at this point of the game without good reason. Him being one might be a good reason.

i'll bite:

unvote xenomorphii
vote XARKAN

also, i think that RYSZ is worthwhile to look at. just a hunch.

What bothers me is that we have had two votes in a row that wound up going towards innocents. Just speculation here but I think one of two trends are at work:

Either different individual bad guys are offering up suggestions of innocents and split their votes among them, and hope the rest latch on to one. Doesn't matter which one gets the most votes, because they cleverly offer up 2 or 3 people and expect one of them reaches critical mass.

Or, the bad guys deliberately try to avoid voting for innocents for fear of looking suspicious, and let the good guys' paranoia, foolishness. and confusion cause them to vote for innocents. This both gets rid of a non guilty member AND serves the function of making those who voted for innocents winners look bad, even if they aren't.

No idea myself about xarkan, but there is still a possibility that it is thought that he is not worth it for the time being and he can be gotten in a later hunt. It would also work to villains' advantage if they can hunt victim A and have the voters vote xarkan, thus getting a double victory in which the voters do part of the heavy lifting for them.

Why are you acting as a wolf? Truth hurts, doesn't it. Yes me and yakman are in one pack thats why we have made an effort to stand out so much.... Adamus I am not a noob you can pull this crap on - I know exactly what you are doing. Also if any of your furry packmates want to eat me - be careful, not all you will make it out alive ;)

So your accusing me of being a wolf because im being overt but at the same time you are saying you are not a wolf because you are being overt. Please make sense in future wolf and let your packmate Yakman know aswell.

Bad guys have lots of strategies, and the fact that this is a BIG game, with probably 2 packs means that it is hard to make a single deduction. Also, players don't necessarily follow a pack leader's strategies, as their is no real penalty for breaking ranks.

But yes, if it's just non-pack members up for the lynch, (for instance, yesterday there were several candidates), then wolves tend to disperse their votes amongst the non-pack mates so as not to look like they are voting in a co-ordinated manner.

However, if a packmate is up for the lynch, wolves TEND to vote together to get another candidate run up, because this early there are usually 3+ candidates in the running, they tend to succeed, unless there is an outing. If there is an outing that is widely trusted, wolves have to join the bandwagon.

A clever villager can try to read the voting and the posting to see connections. It doesn't always work, but sometimes it does.

Xarkan, as I previously said, is best left to the scanners. If they have doubts, they can scan him again, just to be sure, but meanwhile, we should be wary of those that are suggesting that we get rid of a potential JL scanee and a potential mouthpiece too.

Thus, I'll vote Eternaly_Lost

Scanee? Yes. Potential Mouthpeice? I am not quite so sure. It not impossible that he is a Cultist, and used his scan on Euro and found he was a wolf of a rival pack and decided to out him to get an edge. More so if he is a SA Cultist. Then he wants the scanners to scan him, so he can tell his packmates who to hunt.

But like I said, I was only willing to entertain the idea of him being someone to go for, or I would have already thrown my vote on him.

Vote Xarkan, when he is lynched you will see what exactly a waffle means.....

Still on the fence re:xarkan. In any case, you and Yakman appear to have taken some self-appointed leadership, or at least consensus building position. Regardless of how I vote today, in the event xarkan does carry the most votes, his position is revealed. So, if and when we know the loyalties of xarkan, that's a good enough litmus test for me for seeing the loyalties of his opponents.

I do try to be a bit vocal in all my games but only when I see common sense hats being left at the door….Xarkan is a good suspect mainly because he is still here. Outing on first night is something rare for the seer to do, and not being hunted for it is even stranger. So far we have roughly 3 equal possibilities 1)Xarkan was a baddie from the start, 2) Xarkan was turned to a baddie, 3) Xarkan is still a goodie. I rather take by 66% chance of killing a baddie today.

There is suspicion towards me, why would the wolves hunt me when the village will lynch me for free?

Yes me and yakman are in one pack

I'll keep my split vote.

Or that xarkan is innocent, but happens to look suspicious, and will not be hunted because keeping him around serves as a useful distraction.

That is highly unlikely.... even if the seer looks suspicious, he is better off dead..... Thus the reason Xarkan is still alive is because a) he is a baddie, or b) he is a turned baddie.

it would help if the gm put together a chronological order of murdering on the front page...
