Werewolf CXLVII: The Great Norse Reformation

  • We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
So we were 26 players to start with. Two packs would give us 8-9 starting baddies, probably 9. We have 4 dead baddies, 2 unalligned and 1 from each pack. That would leave 5 baddies. Out of 10 live players. The only comfort is the packs are still evenly matched.
 
The real question here is...

Usually there are four players in a pack in your situation there are three, in my eyes that means your in a pack thank you for outing yourself

Why would there have to be four wolves in each pack?

My guess is that there are two wolves left in each pack and one unalligned cultist (or a sorcerer's apprentice turned sorcerer) hopefully still not in contact with any pack.

You're saying the game started with no aligned cultists? If so, what would be the purpose of classifying the dead one as unaligned if they're all unaligned?

Maybe, but I'm now pretty sure there is no seer or priest in the game which means its possible the wolf packs are smaller like two wolves per pack which would explain current difficulty of locating one

Isn't this a game where cultists can allign with a pack?

The Rules said:
Convert (Cultist): A true Norseman swayed by the promises of the Christian priests. Wins with the Werewolves and counts for parity. May start attached or unattached. If the cultist is unattached or his entire pack dies, he may attach himself to a pack by sending a PM to the GM and having at least one of that pack's wolves confirm the attachment. If one of the parties involved is not a wolf or a cultist, the order will not go through. Both parties will be informed of this.

Anyway the setup might well be 2 ww+ 1 cultist/pack at game start.

Well, with all the single scan villagers that have turned up dead lately you might be right. Might even be three small packs in that case.

Oh, hello. I didn't see you there. I understand you wish to place a vote on me, and that's grand. Many have done so in the past and many more will in the future. But right at this moment, now, is not the time for it. Newfriend Rascar Capac (where do you guys get these names, they're radical!) I implore you to change your vote. I will vote along with you, no matter who you choose, unless of course it's me.
 
Do we have a back up plan just in case the forum is afu tomorrow?

Do you refer to the Mercury Fulminate? I thought that was for a different backup plan.
