Book 2

Darius is now subdued and India lies ahead, just waiting for a good conquering. Tasked with procuring the sacrifices with which to commence the celebratory games, Anitpater finds and brings beasts of a half-lamb, half-human variety. Thought to be something vaguely suspicious about this, he's brought before a tribunal to face accusations of treason. It turns out that he was innocent, but it's too late for that to really matter.

Meanwhile, though not yet the Ides of March, Julius Caesar, who had thoughtfully traveled back in time in order to lend his expertise, would be able to help the expedition no more. All of Caesar is divided into 3 parts, thanks to a Werelephant goring.

He came.
He saw.
He conked out.

Oh joy, going to die to a day 1 lynching. It's been a while since that happened.

Since videonfan was a villager and Falc not only in the last minutes changed to videonfan without explanation, but previously had changed to aedan - who he apparently didn't want to actually get lunched - I think Falc is very suspicious and aedan somewhat suspicious.

I completely agree, I am happy that there are villagers who actually go and think about voting patterns.

Let's see what happens when I vote your second suspect.

I didn't bother to check but I assumed Aedan was complaining about getting killed early often. Which has happened to me too so I felt sympathetic.

While I appreciate the help, that wasn't what I posted about. Actually I was commenting on the fact it had been a while since I died to a day 1 lynching.

Unless a double twist, falc saving Aedan was too suspicious to be a baddie move.

Interesting that you got on my radar Rysz not for voting a day1 villager but for jumping on this with wagonlitz who I still consider prime suspect. Seems like a cheap lynch for me.

vote wagon

First I am wise and then I am on your radar?

Also, wagon quite correctly explained his suspect (to which I actually agree), while you only mention that you consider wagonlitz a suspect, but not why.

You were wise before agreeing with wagon! Watch out for timeliness.

Reason for wagon. I see his language as one of a wolf, overly explanatory, but I explained that already in a previous post. I also don't think that falc would so obviously save Aedan if they both were wolves. It would get him lynched immediately. Going for an 'easy' lynch is a wolf tell, so that is an extra suspect on wagon for jumping on this.

The fact that you praise wagon and try to wash him clean 'might' be a sign of you being on the same train. Hence I say you are on my radar. I hope I've satisfied your curiosity... If not, by all means do let me know.

"Overly" explanatory is no argument in itself. In fact, I rather hope people will explain their vote, because it makes it harder for the wolves to remain silent, and also because as a wolf it is harder to provide good arguments while also keeping certain players out of sight. Another case where it is logical that people get explanatory is if they're on danger of being lynched.

And just look at the previous game where Wagonlitz did just that (jumping the band to save his packmate), leading me to the conclusion that both he and nautilu were wolves.

And you haven't thought about that my posting habits could be different from what you expect, because this is my second game and I therefore is extremely unexperienced?
Furthermore I agree with Rysz that explanations always is preferred over just voting, since people just voting cannot easily be seperated into suspects and non suspects.
