1: You can choose a Trigger from a library in the three sections AND OR and NOT.

2: Here you wrote the decribtion, automatically with an string to the .csv

3: same like 2, just with the Event-title

4: Event pic!

5: can define number of Actions here and choose for every Action the commands from a library like at 1


Okay, it's more Brainstorming than a real concept, Needs much of work before it has really every important Thing inside.

- Branch editing of divisions
Divisions have no branch parameter directly.
If you change the branch of a division, the real unit type is changed too.

- d_rsv_33-d_rsv_40,d_01-d_99,b_rsv_36-b_rsv_40,b_01-b_99 saving
If the list_prio parameter is -1, the divisions/brigades are not saved up to now.
Now they are saved if there are any modification.

- The big tech tree picture causing a crash
If X or Y position of tech label was over 999, the editor crashed.
The limit was raised to 9999.

Also for tech tree, can you add the ability to modify the string name, not just the string contents?
Ex. Tech name has string name "TECH_CMP_1_1" and value "Industry Tech 1949", all I see in the editor is the ability to modify the string value.

In my environment it has no error.
Please give me HoI2Editor.log.

To avoid confusion for users, the editor cannot modify string names and auto-assigned them.
If there are any good ideas of its screen layout, I will change it.

may be a stupid question:confused:, but is it possible to create an editor like this for HOI3?
 
:rolleyes:It may be difficult but it would be helpful for all users! if someone could make a simple editor, like the hoi2 would be great!
 
I just want, to thank You Kodak on behalf of me and all Hoi2 community for this piece of art. I really think, that You deserve some cash for this work or at least very special title/rank on forum.

Sorry for necromancy, but I was just wondering, why is it necessary to install 3.5? Wouldn't later versions of .NET include what is in the previous ones?

Will installing 3.5 if you have a different version installed already break anything?

Try running the editor without installing 3.5 if you have a newer version. I think it should work.

Do backup your game files before editing, I found that sometimes it corrupts files. Especially when you are working with mods.

It did indeed work :D
 
I use the Editor a lot, lot lot of time - in the meantime I do most of my work with the Editor, or take it to have a good Overall view.

Are you still active? will the ditor become 1.04 compatible?
