Oh man, you make me wish I hadn't bought this portrait DLC at all.

You still can edit the files as i did, or download a mod too make mediterraneans use western vanilla faces. I love the byzantine clothes and headgear.

Nice to know it is moddable, thanks. I'll edit the files now.

Still, I am also waiting for an official fix for this 'skins made of oranges and lemons' DLC from PDS themselves.

No one is gonna rant together with me about Byzantine Cataphracts sprites still not appearing at all?

So it seems CM has overwritten my saxon, celtic and norse unit packs and replaced them with "early middle ages" models. Is that working as intended, with the units returning to their old selves at some point in history like the clothing packs are supposted to? I do like the new sprites too, but I've paid for the pleasure of looking at my saxons, celts and norsemen trampling around killing eachother.

We've just posted up a new thread about the new early units, more info here ~ http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?808958-CKII-Charlemagne-Renders-Early-Units

A quick answer is that the sprites change to their newer specific looks again around the year 950.

Missing Chromosomes Face Pack

Heh, that's a bit wrong, but funny. But those eyes, is that a new bug? I haven't noticed it before the CM+patch, and still, I almost exclusively play in the Mediterranean. I don't have the Early Clothing Packs, but I noticed that something is strange with the eyes of several characters just after the patch. There also seems to be some kind of compression problem with the small version of the portraits, that I didn't notice before. I might just not have paid attention earlier, though.

I wonder what the source material is for the Celtic unit pack. Because I've been googling and can't come up with anything. I want to see the historical evidence that heavy Celtic soldiers looked like that from legitimate sources. Not that I don't believe paradox, but I want to look more into it. It's such a cool and unique style.

Hey guys and gals!

Thanks for your valuable input!

Some of the images youre seeing in the OP might be slightly different from what you see in game.
This might have to do with last minute changes, Source content render settings or coloring done in game.

I'll discuss this with the team and see how they feel, but I can't guarantee any major changes being done at this point.
We always aim to please our fellow gamers and this is a great way to get a feel for how you recieve what we put out.

Well, it's taken a little over a year, I think, but now you finally have our input! If you really aimed to please your fellow gamers, this pack would've been totally changed as soon as possible after release.

Missing Chromosomes Face Pack

Hah, I've always called it the Treacher-Collins DLC myself.

So how do I get my orange skin color and potraits back?
when queen Leodegunda looks like crap, and she is usually a 2nd or 3rd generation potrait!

Serious never been so pissed off, it isn't about the 2€ paid cause paid unit too which I will never enable.
But the potrait crap really pissing me off at this moment.
