The Slavic Uyghurs of Samarkand. It sounds like a nice fairy tale

More like Ambitious and Ambitious.
A girl's allowed to dream right?

The pope sees all he just finds it difficult to order command over his pile of 600000 gold.
I dunno. Piles of gold tend to buy loyalty stronger than even religion can field (and considering CK2's time period that means a LOT)

I've never seen a Shia rising this large, over twenty times the number the Arabian Empire can field

What's even stranger still, they just completely disappear after a few months, what on earth happened?

Yeah but the pope doesn't do anything with his gold except get naked and swim around in his scroogmcduck papal vault.

Pretty weird stuff happening in my current game. I haven't seen so much happen in just one game course.

First, Karloman imprisoned Charlemagne within 5 years of the game and the man died in his dungeons within a year. Sigurd Ring couldn't even conquer a single county, he was killed in personal combat against some minor count of Sjaelland and now Ragnarr is a poor OPM count. Uighurs are close to forming the Mongol Empire in the east (at least they have all the borders). Zunists kicked out the other, Buddhist Afghans from Afghanistan who now pushed themselves into Panjab instead. Some nomadic tribe annihilated Armenia and settled down there with a custom empire.

And just now this happened:

It seems nomads are getting restless and looking for a place to take a dump. And out of all the things, they chose a stable, powerful ERE after establishing that 'empire' in Armenia. Since vassals are still all Orthodox (thanks to Leon IV surviving), ERE is a tinderbox that is about to explode in rebellions any day. :p

I have never seen this happen, at least not this early in the game. Apologies if this is not strange enough.

It could do with being a little stranger, methinks.

Khazars have ugly borders. Looks like that 'gentle' Suomi kingdom got themselves a new competitor in Scandinavia.

So I take Jerusalem and anew era of jihads is triggered and the guy the game picks to show this is the yazidi caliph. He is caliph of about 3 counties.

Miracles do happen. Though his choice of targets for expansion are rather strange, he captured Egypt then expanded into Nubia but then he attacked the sunni Caliph for Kabulistan which is on the far right bordering India.

England's still completely Anglo-Saxon (and ruled by Hwicce). You don't see that every day. :)

Dun dun duuun!

My best guess is that at some point Aquitaine had a queen that married one of the last Karlings.

I'm not sure I understand what this guy is talking about. As far as I know, I'm Vlad, I have no brothers, and Phillipa is my wife. Don't know what Ol' Gavril is trying to get at by informing me of this seduction plot but, since he is 'the Seducer', I'd say its a safe call to throw him in the dungeon for a while.

Is that Vlad the impaler?
