Biography: ‘Born’ into the European Federal Union (EFU)in the region of Germany in the year 2210, Heinrich Adolf Scwarzfeld was a ‘designer baby’ as they were called at the time. That is, he was altered genetically during his maturation inside the artificial birthing facility to suit his ‘parents’ tastes. Heinrich’s parents had wanted a child that was a capable of thinking with the same calculating ability as a computer, and they got just that.
Heinrich grew into adulthood without any noticeable events effecting his life, his intelligence soaring rapidly as every day passed, until the time came for him to choose a career. Opting in to working for the private sector, in the multidisciplinary field of Omnibionics (literally ‘All-bionics’), Heinrich found that tinkering with machines and biological matter was an incredibly rewarding way to pass the time.
Rising swiftly through the ranks (although he did not truly care about it) Heinrich was soon elevated to the position of Assistant Fabricator of the Mars branch of the company. Assisting his senior, the then General Fabricator Louis d’Aubigny, in all matters of research ranging from the effectiveness of plasteel based communication arrays in transmitting energy as cheaply and quickly as possible between Mars and Earth to how well the internal organs of lice could survive in the cold vaccum of space, Heinrich was noted as being quick, efficient and notably detached from his work.
Following his senior’s untimely death thanks to a pressurized explosion in the upper levels of the research station ‘Deus Ex Machina’, Heinrich was promoted to the position of General Fabricator. Since his ascension the European has devoted his energies to further investigating the possibilities of genetic manipulation, in particular cloning, and the furthering advancement of the capabilities of artificial intelligence.
Now more machine than man, Heinrich Adolf Schwarzfeld is solely focused inwards, disinterested in the concerns and affairs of the outside world. All that matters to him is that his research goes ahead, as quickly and efficiently as possible.
