implying - not saying - that I don´t have any idea whats inside the game and implying - not saying - that I may be not intelligent enough to understand it.....when its plain to see after 4 WWW and 40 DD...

I never did that, don't try to give words to my mouth. All I wrote is that you should play the game before you suggest any future DLCs, because we don't know how well the mechanics will work in the game. Nothing more nothing less.

As fun as it is playing Mr. Cynical, believe it or not there are game devs that aren't just constantly thinking about "MONEY MONEY MONEY".
Of course there are. They're just minor with small cash flows or out of business. Certainly not a company with more than two hundred workers controlling a very significant chunk of their preferred market.

I clearly said "implying - not saying" (twice) = giving words to my mouth in your opinion .......... I don´t know how to word it more gently.

If you really don´t understand why your post was condescending its of no use to try to explain it...

Now again.....it´s not about HOW WELL it works, the game works ... we have seen it plainly, but IT LACKS in some respects

But that's it, I didn't imply anything. I just said that to you.
If you read it that way you misunderstood my intent.
I was disagreeing with you, but that's not condescanding.

On the other hand you wrote that my point is bullshit, which is quite condescending, so please do explain it.

I think that's a bit naive and unreasonable to suggest that. Of course money is a reason, and in some cases even the primary reason for making video games, but even in big evil companies like EA and Ubisoft, it is not the only reason.

Oh please. Every corporation is required to turn the biggest profits possible or they run out of investors. No amount of good intentions changes that.

waste of time.......but one thing at last, do you understand that you render - lets say - 90% of the whole opinions on this HOI4-forum irrelevant because "nobody played it yet" and that is why I used the term "bullshit" after ....again 4 WWW and ...again 40 DD.

I really hope there will be cultures in one dlc. I swear, no matter how much it costs I would buy it. (except 50€ :))

Yes that exactly is your problem and no amount of explanation changes that apparantly.

Chill out man, there are people who will disagree with you. Deal with it.

Oh I´m perfectly happy to argue with people having real arguments and not some dribble ( yes I´m condescending now, I don´t care anymore ) and even concede to
their points if they make sense....your argument made no sense, so no dealing with it....

How many people does your company employ and is it a big one?

Why does it matter? You said that every corporation is only in it for the profit, which is not true. My company works(technical counseling) with both smaller companies, and big internationals.(this is based on actual experience) Many CEOs who I know actually care for their employees/customers, just as I do.

If so, name it.

Yeah, like I'm going to name publicly my company to some random dude on the internet. Nice bait.:)

It's hilarious that you got buttmad over words being put in your mouth then conveniently glossed over the parts where I noted "good intentions" companies stay small or die.
Also, you sound really gullible if you took people saying "we care" as an honest statement. It's a polite fiction.

By the way, did you know I'm President of a developing country and deal with corporations every day?
But you can't know which one :^)

The only difference is that I'm not lying:)

You guys are missing a huge factor: the dev's don't have executive functions. The devs have to report to the business side of the company, but it's not their job to sell it, therefore they feel less pressure in that respect.
Of course they desire to sell their games, but they'll be more satisfied selling a good game than a bad one, because they focus on create, not monetize.
The business crew is another thing. But luckily, having both parts of the clmpany separed, each part pushes towards their goal, and we end with a reasonable equilibrium like the one we're enjoying right now.
