Fair play. Ironhide really needs to step up his game, though. The Seer coming into contact with a wolf and passing him every single bit of info he received is a stellar display of incompetence
True, but he was thrust into a situation where the seer before him hadn't scanned at all, and had 2 wolves to dispose of. Sure he should've handled it better but in all honestly
I can't blame him too much for reaching out to the first person who contacted him.

Werewolf CXCVII: The Great Danish Comma War
Nah I was more thinking of a Chopin themed game.

@Wagonlitz you're now morally obligated to host this game.
Isn't it bad if the GM is ridiculously biased to one side though? Also I think that would be better suited for a lite---might do it one day. Or you could do it; haven't you said you want to?

It's probably not an appropriate theme for a Big game. Then again, many Big themes aren't, so it's not a deal-breaker.

I don't think I'd be able to muster the proper level of condescension towards the American comma. I'll leave that part to you. Though a Chopin game is equally good.

You're right, he should do a Gay Pride Parade Through a Muslim Neighborhood theme.

I maintain that the theme was the best part of that game.
Well since it wasn't really an actual game that's the only potential good thing about it.

You could then do a sequel about the mayonnaise war; it was about whether mayonnaise should continue being spelled mayonnaise or should be Danified to something like Majonæse---i.e. be spelled like it is pronounced. The side supporting the original spelling won. It happened back in the 80s. Other words which were part of the war were yoghurt vs. jogurt, ressource vs. resurse
I.e. all foreign loan words which were to have a more Danish spelling according to the language department---the language department lost due to the public rioting. The government ended up having to interfere and mandate that the language department followed the will of the people.

I had planned that the baddies would be rivals to Chopin who tried to damage his carrier. How is that not a good theme?

America never got so first world that you have major problems such as comma wars or wars over the spelling of loan words---wars which all require government interference. Or wars over entire languages like the Norwegians. Those kinds of problems really ought to be the definition of first world problems.

Huh. I had considered a real musicians versus fake musicians theme at one point (i.e. pit classical composers against pop singers or something), but I thought it wouldn't work too well.

Ironhide did a Lite of it. I think the concept could be expanded to a Big reasonably well.

Maybe an Amadeus-type theme would work, too. Musicians jealous of each other trying to destroy each others' lives or something.
That was something like what I had thought of; just centered about Chopin. (Don't know if he actually has any such rivalries, but they can always be made up (with real composers of course).

Why is Wagon so obsessed with late 19th century American literature?

Its Frédéric Chopin; the man behind this. (Also why is the really good recording on youtube region blocked for the US... Then I have to post these inferior ones where the sound is strange.)
