Yeah guys just keep telling me I have to take you, and only you on there. This is soooo valuable for making a decision. You want me to throw a dice just say it.

Fuck it, spies win.

I did my best resistance.

He... hasn't even proposed a team.

Anyways, I take Tamius' lack of discussion and refusal to participate properly as a likely spy, so I will not approve a team with him or Jerman on it. The real question is who to decide between Falc and Happycats.

So while I do agree npster is being a little too trusting, I think he's our best bet for a Resistance member. Since Jerman is almost but confirmed spy and I'm not sure 2 spies would have the reaction to each other like npster and Jerman unless it's a desperate attempt at separation.

I agree with you that npstr is likely resistance which is why I found it especially frustrating that he was quick to trust Falc, especially due to, what I would consider, poor reasoning.

I'm not exactly sure what you expect out of us. Of course each of us would really rather be on the mission team. I thought you were asking for Aedan's and Jackson's opinions since they are both already on your hypothetical team. I don't want Falc on the team as I am fairly certain that he's the spy who sabotaged M2. For Tamius and Panzer, I'm pretty meh on the two of them. Neither has really stood out to me. Panzer has been more active and willing to discuss than tamius so I guess he gets a slight edge there, but I'm not sure if it's anything I want to bet on, especially since I think one of the two of them is a spy. So yes, I'd prefer it if the one person I'm 100% sure on (i.e. myself) was on the team.

I wouldn't say that I've been refusing to participate, it's just that I've been devoting more of the time that I have to the WW Big at the moment. I haven't managed to put up the next instalment of the WW CC GM AAR yet, for instance.

But I sense I'm not going to be able to change your mind on this, as you've said this before.

Meh, I'm still lingering on the possibility of both Jerman and Npstr being spies. It's the explanation that makes the most sense for Jerman being so actively useless.

Let's assume aedan, Jacksonian and myself are Resistance. That means there are still 2 other Resistance members out there, so it should be no problem for you to come up with at least one person that is not yourself and not already on the team that you can find sensible arguments to be Resistance, right?

Considering you haven't really attempted to, I am fairly hesitant.

Not really, no. If it was "no problem" you would have already proposed a team instead of holding up the game waiting for someone to make a case for you. In case my posts weren't clear, I'm fairly certain the spy team is:

Jerman
Falc
Tamius/Panzer

See my predicament? And as I've already said, I don't really see that much to separate Tamius and Panzer. Panzer approved the sabotaged M2 team that he wasn't on as well as the M1 team (which if my spy team is correct had a spy on it), but he's also been an active player who has participated in discussion. Tamius rejected both teams but he's also been lacking in activity and seems to be coasting, which seems like spy behavior to me. So Tamius is acting like a spy but in my opinion has a better vote record on approved teams, while Panzer is acting more like a resistance member but has the worse record on proposals. So I'm not really confident on putting either forward as a candidate for the fifth resistance member.

Fair enough.

I have my own thoughts on every single one of you, and have laid them out already. While this is also about finding other cases, the chances are slim. What is actually happening here is creating more information that will hopefully be useful later. We are bound to get at least another pair of cards, which will give us some juicy details. Also, don't hate me for not moving on, hate the players that seem to be very reluctant to post what they think.

Hmm well Jerman has played quite a few games before though it's been too long for me to remember what his play style was like. Does anyone else know? Is he usually more proactive/independently thinking?

Propose team:

npstr
aedan
Jacksonian
Falc

Hmmmmm.

Approve because fuck it, I don't care

We already lost, GG Npstr and his spymates.

So is Jerman using reverse psychology to make us think his spymate(s?) is(are?) on the team, or is he trying to exploit that to make us approve a team with his spymate(s?) on it. I don't think he's been clever enough this game to suggest the latter, so I'm thinking this team might be clear. Would also explain his bizarre accusation of happycats. He wants his claimed spy team to include at least one of his actual spymates, but doesn't want to implicate them either by making a case against them. Which is why he has articulated reasons he suspects Npstr and me, yet has repeatedly refused to explain why he thinks Happycats is a spy.

This makes sense to me.

Approve

First of all, Jerman, we won mission 1, so there's no way the game can be over now. Even if this mission also fails, we have a decent chance of getting the fourth since it requires double sabotages, putting us into the 5th and making it come down to the wire.

I'm going to REJECT this. Sorry npstr but that mess with the card at the start of the game has made you too suspicious.

Care to tell me what I could have done to have the trust of a (Resistance) Falc at this point? It's not like I caused that mess you know. So if I made a mistake while trying to prove my allegiance against the situation Jerman put me in, I'd like to know it to get better. Cause while this proposal might not be clear, rejecting it cause of me is a wrong reason.
