Alright a few things to update:
1. We're up to about roughly 18-19ish people. (some people haven't posted in the thread). So the game is shaping up well in regards to player count, 20ish is basically where I want it to be.
2. I don't think we will play with AI nations this campaign. AI come with all sorts of advantages/disadvantages and I think it might be better overall to just have players.
3. In addition to #2, I'm thinking of setting the galaxy size to something that fits the player count. Currently I think large is good enough.
4. I'm thinking of removing the 'no human vassalisation' rule, considering how easy it is to vassal some people. Not that it would be a good thing. It's something I might observe for the first game and if its too exploity I'll add it back as a rule again.
5. Thinking of putting a restriction on everybody that you cannot start in the Sol System or the Deneb System(Everyone is forced to play random).

That's about it for now, feel free give your opinions on what I just said or suggest a few other things.

I like 1-5. Especially #2.
 
2 things. Large is imo too big of a galaxy size for 20 players with no ai; medium is better.

We should have fallen empires in the game just because they will create interesting diplo regarding who gets to salvage what.

Fallen empires would still be in even without AI. There would still be fallen empires, and there would still be 'pre-space' civs that could possibly become actual empires as well.

Gotcha. I was not sure if he meant he was excluding them, because they are technically ai. Thx for the clarification.

Just been screwing around testing out the various wormholes and government/trait types. I have found 3 "builds" I like basically money, research and more money.
