This is a emergency transmission for anyone out there that might listen.

It seems that almost everyone has failed to arrive to the office this morning, it’s more or less empty. The only ones left are me and Goosecreature. He arrived an hour after me, but there's something wrong with him. His empty eyes just stares into the abyss, it's like he has seen something that took his soul and ripped it to shreds.

My searches of the premises has been unsuccessful, it's like people have just vanished into thin air.

I realize that will sooner or later run out of coffee. I need more time… Help must come… I'm the higher officer, shouldn't Goosecreature sacrifice himself and stick to drinking water? Or do I need to pull an “Old Yeller” on him?

No I can't, I can't be alone…

The palpable, desperate need of the human animal to be with his fellow man. Up there, up there in the vastness of space, in the void that is sky, up there is an enemy known as isolation. It sits there in the stars waiting, waiting with the patience of eons, forever waiting...

I don't mind that there is not dev diary, @Zoft. What I do mind, is that by being so memetic about there being no diary, you primed me into thinking there would be an actual dev diary when I started reading it: "Oh, its one of those DDs when they are goofing around and role play while showing off new stuff". Nope. That was a particularly cruel "sike!"

Strange tidings indeed, the last two ck2 diaries, now this.. at least the office still believes in private property (looking at the lockers)

Be nice to take from this that perhaps they're introducing an end-game crisis that involves abductions mysteriously happening; It's also interesting to consider the fact that our empires could abduct primitives/populations from other planets during wartime.

Seriously guys, if you can't do a DD this week that's fine. But....

I agree, if you don't have any, and I mean any content (the latest CK2 DDs at least gave us something), then just say so and don't tease us.

Wait, since these guys basically play games for a living, does this mean that while the cat's away the mice will ... work?

Go ahead, guys. Spreadsheet like it's 1999!

Heh, nice to see them having a joke...

Hint: pay attention.

It seems that almost everyone has failed to arrive to the office this morning, it’s more or less empty.

Hint: abandoned super stations\ringworlds\sanctuary?

Hint: Up = Tall, maybe a hint for a tall isolated empires mechanics.

What is this Fermi update everyone is talking about? The only updates I am aware of are the 1.4 Kennedy and the 1.5 Banks. A link to an official mentioning of it would be appreciated.
"Where is everybody?" is the so called Fermi paradox. The Fermi update is literally a joke and does, as of yet at least, not even exist in planning.

Do you think the warscore value of targets are too important?
2470, I have 750k fleet points, possess 40% of the galaxy and can harvest only 2 planets every 10 years. The 2,3,4th have between 100k and 250k fleet point. That I shave every 10 years.
Only 1 fallen empire awoke on the 4. Another one woke up on the other side of the map, I would have had a competitor. the end of the game will be long.
Just a little more war in the sky and it's perfect for me.
Is this because I am only level 2 ?
It would be nice to be able to repair the rings world for the cost and time of a dead / gaia world for each sector.
(sorry for my english)

Wrong thread much?
Also: Fix your warscore problem with mods.

both... 2 federations, i have access only to 1.
yep for mod.. for an empire contain 125 planet, could farm only 2 planet in war. shure it can do better. ok in a big empire, a simple planet have a limited importance. but a little empire with 1, 2 or 3 planet haven t a great importance on galactic plan. he s just here.

I have a feeling this is trying to tell us something that we have yet to fully grasp. maybe its a warning that there has been a delay for the new Kennedy patch, or it could be a sign of a new mechanic that shall appear in-game? anything is possible. All I can know for a certainty is that no one expects the robotic inquisition.

Naw, pretty sure it was just everyone taking a holiday in Malta, and Zoft and Goosecreature broke out of their cage in the basement. :p
