Chapter 16: First phase of army overhaul reform and Poland's advance to secondary power position (1st of January 2030 - 1st of January 2035)
Part three, 5th of May 2032 - 1st of January 2035
At beginning of May 2032, Precision Long-Ranged Weaponry was finally implemented into Polish infantry arsenal, and next goal was special operation tactics system.
At beginning of the elections, the topic of army overhaul emerged when high ranked officer made promilitaristic speech, claiming the army isn't supplied properly. The government decided to back them, though it made worries about rise of jingoism among citizens.
There was obviously reaction of pacifists, dissatisfied with rise of military support. However, as rearmament needed to be continued, so the voice share was to be limited.
Meanwhile industrial sector applied for free trade between nations, which was actually promoted by whole Polish society.
Military policy remained as major election topic however, and the government officially supported promilitary approach.
Elections seemed to be orderly ones, with no particular discontent among citizentry.
Finally, in late October election results were given in, while also special operations studying was finished. Civic Platform remained in power.
Next research goal was to implement Lightweight Small Arms Technologies into Polish military.
Last research allowed to do major modernisation of Polish infantry, which ended in disbandment of old WW2-era infantry regiments and replacing them with brand new modern infantry regiments.
In beginning of January 2033 Senat rearranged again, which allowed liberal government to pass new bill banning capital punishment of people in Poland.
Meanwhile in march, while soldiers reached in Central Poland 3% of population, the government changed their promotion system to expand officer cadre, to start growing out of the undersize of Polish officer cadre.
In April modern infantry regiments were ready to join service in Polish army.
At beginning of September Lightweight Small Arms were implemented into Polish army, and next goal was development of modern Antitank weaponry.
At 9th of September the government officially announced, that Poland advanced enough to join secondary powers group.
The very same day, the recruitment of Polish modern Mechanized infantry regiments started.
In October modern antitank weaponry was implemented into Polish regiments, and next goal was development of main battle tank to replace older types of Polish tanks.
In November promotion of soldiers changed to enstablishment of officer corps in Lesser Poland and Upper Silesia.
In December 2033 Main battle tank was finally developed, and next goal was development of missile armed tanks.
At first January 2034 Senat rearranged again, leaving possibility to implement social justice into Polish iusticiary system.
In April development of Missile Armed Tanks was finished, and next goal was development of Second Generation tanks.
At 9th of August Modern mechanized infantry regiments joined national army.
In late September Second Generation Tanks were finally implemented, and next goal was development of antitank missiles.
Finally, at 1st of January 2035 Senat rearranged again.
