I’ve never been a fan of actual Day 1 TIEs.
Actually agree with you here. Let's see how Panzer flips.

These people think they know better than you, the collective village.

They are wrong.

They prevented your justice from being carried out today. They will continue to subvert your will for their gain.

Day 1/Night 1
Day 1
Following the events of yesterday, the Council begins deliberation regarding who could possibly be a subversive against the Communes. While debate is heated, nearly resulting in two groups of the Council being held responsible, ultimately the blame rests solely on the shoulders on the Nikean sub-council. One of two devoted to religious affairs, it is suspected that the members are sympathetic to reactionaries, and so it is disbanded. Unfortunately, the membership of the council seems to have actually been doing proper research into the ways faith and anarchism could work together for the prosperity of the Communes. In addition, they had been using their rapport as members of their sub-council to perform further research into the actions of subversives in the Council as a whole. The members of the Council of Nikea will be missed.

Panzer Commader the Blessed Villager and Councilor of the Revolutionary Committee (Responsible for Seer Scans) was lynched.

Night 1
That night, the reactionaries continue their squabbling. With the Bourgeoisie subversives angered that they lost a member of their own faction, they strike back, targeting a leading member of the Hierarchists, Arkasas, forcing him to leave the Council before he is sentenced for treason. His stash of illegal alcohol is confiscated until the Council figures out how best to dispose of it.

Arkasas the Distiller Wolf of the Hierarchy Pack was hunted.

Well I voted Panzer because the other zombie was getting easy votes, but seems he got them just as easy.

Euro & deathbywombat were voting Arky. Euro was a 2nd vote on day 1 - possible to get out of, but why risk it? And dbw resurrected a dying case.
Capi reacted on the case, despite it being no frontrunner - would be silly for a packmate, though not impossible as this info tends to get lost and only votecounts remembered.

We have to seriously consider if Panzer being pushed over the edge saved MarcoRosso. If so Capi is the most legit option, but then, he was tie-ing all day, and see above.

Having thus, for now, exhausted what people did to Arky - Dedonus was voted by Arky, for a total nonsense reason. Not too suspicious on day 1, but Arky never changed. If Arky WAS alibi voting, that was the way to do it. But then, would he really? For the same reason it would be a lame alibi vote too.

All of those being probably not Arky packmates, though I wouldn't exclude it for Dedonus or Capi entirely, I will pick the last person to place a meaningless vote, which is a common tactic for someone avoiding the limelight:

Vote De Chatillon

I would posit LatinKaiser, the person to break the Marco-Panzer tie seconds to deadline, as the most 'legit' option.

Capibara would have let the TIE stand. Only one person deserves both the credit and the blame for the life and actions of MarcoRossolini: Latink.

I, personally, am not swayed by this argument. But I thought it should be made very clear what happened yesterday.

Vote Alynkio

Call it a hunch.

I find that the votes on Claude yesterday were pretty lazy. Claude usually gets run up for one reason: his reputation for being a zombie. I would be lying if I said I hadn't used that logic against him in the past, but as he said, this would have been the 4th time in a row for dying on day 1. Therefore, I would like to start at the Claude voters today, as this could be an easy place for a wolf to hide a vote. I'm going to go with the 3rd voter, R.Graymarch, who pushed Claude into a tie with Avernite, if I am doing the math correctly. MarcoRossolini did break the tie by pushing Claude ahead, but one could argue it was a self-preservation move (albeit an early one).

VOTE R.Graymarch

[246] Avernite - voted De Chat = reasoning {last person to make a meaningless vote}
[247] EUROO7 - voted alynkio = reasoning {a hunch}
[249] Dedonus - voted R.Graymarch = reasoning {voting Claude Day 1 is lazy, especially when he eventually turns up and votes; player was 3rd to vote Claude}

Vote EURO

He made Panzer a major candidate and was the third voter. When EURO TIEd Panzer with hte rest of the runners up that created a really large field, which would allow a wolf to escape quite easily.

Euro did vote Arkasas for a while yesterday and suggested him as an alternative to the main candidates, though he didn't put a great amount of effort into convincing anyone.

Seer dead again.... Man.....

First I wasn't able to change my vote in time off of Marco his answer was sufficient.

As for the cases as of now:

De Chat: He did make a meaningless vote but it is day 1, I know I'm still new but meaningless votes on day 1 is standard no?

Alynkio: Euro's hunch is somewhat persuasive mostly because I'm clueless. My own observations lead me to believe something may be off. I've only seen Alynkio as a baddies and as one he usually gives pretty good analysis but is otherwise neutral. His post yesterday he tried to get people to make moves, I saw it as he was fishing information. Maybe a villager? Or is he trying to throw people off? At this time I won't commit.

R.Graymarch: Dedonus claims he was the 3rd voter, though he wasn't Marco was out of self preservation. Aside from that R.Graymarch made a meaningless vote for De Chat prior. Meaningless votes may be wolfish.

Euro: A perennial candidate like Wagonlitz the irony that the latter is voting the former is not lost on me. Euro is erratic and impossible for me to read. Perhaps Wagonlitz is on to something but the case against Panzer was CAWZ and from what I've seen that too is normal in the first few days.

My observations:

Day 1 votes are mostly fluff, most vote switchers moved off their fluff cases to the zombies, aside from myself who pressed for an answer but forgot to check the thread. Deathbywombat moved from Alynkio to Arkasas to stir something up but to no avail, however Arkasas has been revealed as a baddie and packmates do vote for each other to avoid the limelight so to speak. Though, I'm not willing to commit. Both Claude and Marco voted out of self preservation no meaningful information can be gained from that. Dedonus misreading Graymarch's vote seems off. It may be an honest mistake like Marco but harder to write off Dedonus posts voting records and typically the reasons they vote. Despite the fact this too could be an honest mistake, it would be hardly fair to not vote for Dedonus.

Vote Dedonus

The field was large before my entrance yesterday. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the top contenders. People largely agreed, and someone who wasn't in the top field was killed instead. Given how broad the spread of votes was, there's not a doubt in my mind a baddie or two cheated death last night. I advocated strongly for a TIE to the last minute, precisely to broaden the net cast by the village.

Euro did vote Arkasas for a while yesterday and suggested him as an alternative to the main candidates, though he didn't put a great amount of effort into convincing anyone.
I brought the spotlight to Arkasas. No one but a very late wombat (I won't say which) even acknowledged it. I suggest candidates, but I don't have the ultimate say in who the village goes for in the end. Which is why I find LatinK's snipe to be deplorable. The village's only power is who we kill during the day. When we kill more unknowns, we broaden the village's power. LatinK's outrageous vote served only to undermine the village's mission. I suspect he will be looked at very closely, however.

Apologies for my absence yesterday, some unexpected IRL happenings caused me to be unable to place a vote.
