is tribal government getting prestige from raids and wars?

I played a little bit with ireland in the early start but im not getting anything even when the game says i should get some free prestige.
this is hurting quite a bit as now i can´t get prestige to build buildings.....

You don't get prestige from wars, you get fame (the thing you level up with prestige). Wars basically turn X number of prestige into X number of fame if you win.

Prestige is certainly useful to a tribal, but your level of fame is what decides how many levies/taxes you get from vassal.

What's the mathematical relationship between:

Levies (peasants)
Men-at-arms (retinue)
Knights?

I want to figure out if it's preferable to invest in knights 1rst then men-at-arms or vice versa. And why?

Is there a way to suppress populists without giving out land to their culture/religion

Why do vassals seem extremely slow/reluctant to convert their provinces?

I keep losing a massive amount of prestige every war for seemingly no reason. I do what all the cool kids do. I save up my prestige and when I have enough, I declare war on a county as a tribe. Call in all my allies and crush the enemy, but at some point I get a bunch of prestige loss and end up way in the dirt. I don't know what's going on! Any ideas guys?
Offensive wars cost prestige for EVERY ally and for EVERY war you call them in.
Defensive wars don't cost anything when calling in allies.

I also hate the fact that you can’t NAME grandchildren even if they are born to your child in your court. No way to change it AFAIK, it will probably be updated later.

Thanks, not being able to rename grandkids is not great, indeed.

However, I am more annoyed by the fact that I don't even get notified if a grandkid is born, in my own court. So unless I check it manually on a regular basis, I won't even know about them. And checking if there is a new kid born to one of my own six children is quite tedious.

So I was hoping there is a message setting that could solve it quickly.

I have realised that I had several grandchildren born, all in my court, yet I didn't receive any notification of it. Is there a way to change the message settings?
Not in-game, but you can mod notifications, messages, etc now, at least to some extent (I don't think making any of them autopause is possible). However, there's a thread in suggestion forums asking for proper message settings to be implemented.

What's the deal with faction strength? It said I had over 300% the strength of my liege but when war broke out we had even numbers. How is the number calculated?

How do innovation exposures work? I don't share a religion with Russian culture, but it says that I am getting exposure from them? Is this a bug?

Does anyone have any idea how this works? Started as Uppland in 867, formed Sweden and now have territory scattered all over Europe, but I'm still not getting 'exposure' aside from the one I started with. At my current rate of development I won't be able to reach feudalism until like 1350.

How can I see the Crown Authority of my Liege? I just got a nasty supprise when I tried to push the claim I just fabricated and found out I needed a hook on my liege due to the realm's laws. I can see my own realm's laws in the Realm tab and my liege's succession laws and line of succession when I click on his primary title, but I can't figure out where I can see his crown authority.

How does cultural exposure work? I am as a Castilian Culture head I am getting 40% due to sharing a religion with Croatians, but I don't have any contact with them and for this one tech, there are other techs that Croatian have but I don't and I don't get any bonus there. what special building is there in Toledo?

Started 2 times with Poland and I run into the same 2 fronts war versus Hungary + Bohemia.

I am allied with Ruthenia but somehow they're always at war and drag myself into it as well.

Any tips how to deal with Bohemian+Hungarian alliance?

Because the negative reasons are higher than the positive reasons.

Invite to court is harder now. You are not really meant to go fishing for claimants like that anymore. These should be a decision called "invite claimants," though, which will bring them to you (you can't really choose, however). The positive thing is that you don't need to land them anymore to make them your vassals after you press their claims.

Just looking at it, though, I'm confused. On the left it seems her opinion of him is 93, so subtracting base reluctance should give 43. But on the right it says her opinion is 25, hence the -25. Where's it getting the opinion of 25 from?

It is not a 1 to 1 from opinion to reason to join. (most modifiers aren't 1 to 1 like that). I have no idea what is the exact math, though. I would guess it is a 1/4 of your opinion, but then you would have 24 reasons at most.
