As a tribal count, is it good to raise men at arms in peace time or just when I get in a war?
I see they cost prestige to make and maintain too right?
Men-at-Arms have two maintenance costs: one "full" when they are raised or reinforcing, and one "unraised" when they are no longer reinforcing and unraised. Keeping them raised outside of war will increase your costs, unless they are also reinforcing.
Hi!
I have -515 Prestige. It is possible or this is a bug? When yes, it's possible, what's mean?
This is possible, due to events etc being able to take away Prestige from you. -500 does seem like quite a lot though, but it could have been multiple events.
Am I right in saying I can't grant a Barony title?
I'm over my domain limit, but the only titles I can grant are the same as mine.
You should be able to.
I cant join a multiplayer game says wrong checksum
Make sure you and the host are using the same mods, and that Steam has updated your game to the latest version (restart steam)
Also, right-click Crusader Kings 3 in your library, and choose Properties. Then go to the Local Files tab and click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files"
Can anyone answer my earlier question or has experienced the same thing? Renaming Byzantium turns it into "Empire of the [whatever you changed the name to]". Bug or am I missing a toggle???
Custom names for titles are always on the form of "Title_Name of Custom_Name", so Kingdom of Heaven, County of Counting. The Holy Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, and the Roman Empire Titles all have custom logic to drop the "Empire of", so it is not possible to rename your Titles in this way.
This is my question also. Seems like no one knows right now. My grandnephew had lower prestige, lower piety, was younger than me, AND had fewer titles but was appointed as dynasty head instead of me. Really? How exactly is it selected then???
Maybe it goes down through the "main" branch of the dynasty, over higher ranking people in other branches? I dont know.
I don't recall exactly, but to become Dynasty Head you must (as a House Head) exceed the current Heads Military Strength by a bit of a margin, and wait until it is checked (within a year IIRC)
