So I defeated a rebellion and imprisoned my vassal. Now the game won't let me revoke his primary title for some reason, saying that it will leave him with a title but no land, despite the fact that he also has a county. Does anyone know why this is happening?

This is my question also. Seems like no one knows right now. My grandnephew had lower prestige, lower piety, was younger than me, AND had fewer titles but was appointed as dynasty head instead of me. Really? How exactly is it selected then???

Maybe it goes down through the "main" branch of the dynasty, over higher ranking people in other branches? I dont know.

It seems like troop number is what determines it. The house head (hereditary) with the most troops becomes the dynasty head. Sometimes takes a while to update.

As a tribal count, is it good to raise men at arms in peace time or just when I get in a war?

I see they cost prestige to make and maintain too right?

I've only found it effecient to do so when you think you will be raided by an approaching army. If your army is vastly inferior, sometimes it's better to just take the hit.

Hmmm interesting. I dont see how he could have had more troops than me, but I guess it was possible. Maybe he had some mercs hired?

I guess the isssue is hte Duke level above - you would need to take that first, since there cannot be a Duke without land (a county).

For some reason my most recent emperor has been gaining stress every time he's handed out titles. This occurs even if the titles are given to his son (though not heir) and the titles are all in excess of his demense. Anyone know what's up? These are his traits, I don't see anything that seems to be related to a penalty like this. Maybe Ambitious? But it still makes no sense since its more than he can hold himself...

It's ambitious. From what people have said, it looks like you need to be well over the domain limit for giving out titles to not stress you as an ambitious charcter.

Hopefully they will review this, so that launching a high-title-yield Invasion doesn't cause Ambitious characters to suffer an instant brain haemmorhage :)

My ruler had an alliance with a duke through betrothing him to his granddaughter.
My ruler died and now I'm playing as his son, so the betrothed child is now my daughter.
My daughter has the alliance but I do not.
Is this intended behaviour? I don't remember if it worked like this in CK2.

NAPs tended to break on succession in CK2 as well.

In this case, there should be a diplomatic option on the ruler to form an alliance. He can say "no" however.

Yikes, I'm going to need to do a lot of drinking to offset this conquering.

I'm a Duke in Denmark with a much larger army than the King of Denmark. How exactly am I supposed to become King if I "can't usurp title of liege"? Is the process now: declare independence war > conquer the proper number of counties > usurp while independent?

Men-at-Arms have two maintenance costs: one "full" when they are raised or reinforcing, and one "unraised" when they are no longer reinforcing and unraised. Keeping them raised outside of war will increase your costs, unless they are also reinforcing.

Hi!
I have -515 Prestige. It is possible or this is a bug? When yes, it's possible, what's mean?

This is possible, due to events etc being able to take away Prestige from you. -500 does seem like quite a lot though, but it could have been multiple events.

Am I right in saying I can't grant a Barony title?

I'm over my domain limit, but the only titles I can grant are the same as mine.

You should be able to.

I cant join a multiplayer game says wrong checksum

Make sure you and the host are using the same mods, and that Steam has updated your game to the latest version (restart steam)
Also, right-click Crusader Kings 3 in your library, and choose Properties. Then go to the Local Files tab and click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files"

Can anyone answer my earlier question or has experienced the same thing? Renaming Byzantium turns it into "Empire of the [whatever you changed the name to]". Bug or am I missing a toggle???

Custom names for titles are always on the form of "Title_Name of Custom_Name", so Kingdom of Heaven, County of Counting. The Holy Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, and the Roman Empire Titles all have custom logic to drop the "Empire of", so it is not possible to rename your Titles in this way.

I don't recall exactly, but to become Dynasty Head you must (as a House Head) exceed the current Heads Military Strength by a bit of a margin, and wait until it is checked (within a year IIRC)

Apologies if this was asked before:

I had a number of vassals who were listed as "Titles passing out of my realm when Vassals Die".

I have High Crown Authority (3). I thought this was supposed to prevent this issue.

Thanks
