Shouldn’t the Orthodox and Catholic faiths before 1054 be one faith?
They still had their differences even before the great schism.
One example is the Filioque dispute introduced by Rome in 867 which lead to the Orthodox excommunicating the Pope.

As for a quick question: Does the diplomatic range in the setting affects only the player or the AI as well?

Little question about health. I noticed some characters were tagged as "good health" while some others only "fine" without any modifier. Does it mean that there is a secret health bonus/malus which is determined by RNG for each character ?

That is the health values, which has been abstracted to just vague words, it is impacted by various things, perks, modifiers, traits and age

I think the “normal” state is yellow heart not green one. I know that in CK2 the health stat was hidden and you could only see it via console.

Hi, I am new to the game and played a little bit of CK2, but not much. What are the ways to get more counties in my realm. As of now I have only 5 while my limit is 8 and would like to add more, but not expand. Is murdering the chain of heirs until I as a liege do inherit them the only way?
Thank you

Is it normal for a norse reformed asatru feudal ruler to be unable to raid? (tenets - Warmonger, Ancestor Worship, Mendicant Preachers)

Is it possible to rename children/name grandchildren? Whenever my children have children there is no option to name them, really sucks when you're trying to build up those regnal numbers
How can I view title histories?
Like, who where the previous rulers of a county, or kingdom?

I want to rename children and see previous rulers too.

To view title history, click the book icon next to the word "claimants".

Am I still not understanding correctly succession? I have regular partition as my realm succession law. Two daughters. When I die, a bunch of titles goes to each of them. Why doesn't my primary heir get claims on the lost titles? On the other hand, my second daughter does get claims on the primary heir's titles. Why is this? Bug or feature?

NAPs tended to break on succession in CK2 as well.

In this case, there should be a diplomatic option on the ruler to form an alliance. He can say "no" however.

Yeah, I tested this in CK2 yesterday. They do break on succession.
There is no option in CK3 however to reform the alliance, as far as I can see.
My daughter is still betrothed but I can't ask for an alliance as her father.

[EDIT: Added screenshots]
NAPs seem to also not be a thing now, since an alliance is formed on marriage/betrothal.
And from what I've seen from other people's posts, your allies can still attack you.

Apologies if this was asked before:

I had a number of vassals who were listed as "Titles passing out of my realm when Vassals Die".

I have High Crown Authority (3). I thought this was supposed to prevent this issue.

Thanks

I don't know for certain, but I'm guessing the warning stays there when you have high crown authority so that if you are considering lowering authority you aren't surprised to find out after you've swapped that you might be losing land.

This is because your primary heir is a higher tier than the younger sibling, which makes the younger sibling your vassal. If you want to get claims back on the counties you've lost you can use your realm priest to fabricate claims on them so that you have a valid reason for revocation.

Does pressed claims doesn't always gets inherited? Because mine didn't.

I play Strasbourg, made Duchy of Alsace, then usurped and got Duchy of Brabant title.

Then I (Luthfried II) died. From the succession, my heir (Luthfried III) have Alsace and my brother (Daniel) gets Brabant.
I ((Luthfried III) also got a pressed claim on duchy of Brabant from the succession. (not quite sure why)

Then I died and my heir (Grandson, Luthfried IV) didn't get Brabant claim. But I (Luthfried IV) did get unpressed claim to Transjurania (my uincle Hartwig).
Which again idk why I got unpressed/pressed claim from succession and why I got no Brabant claim.
Whether it was because the heir is my grandson or it was just random, idk.

I'm 100% sure I got pressed claim on Brabant when I was playing Luthfried III. But then I don't have the claim on Brabant as Liuthfred IV. But Why?
I am playing on ironman so I don't know how to show you claims which deceased people had.

Am I just misunderstanding something? My first assumption is this is a bug because the heir is my grandson and the game logic just say nope, i got no claim.
And what determines the type of claims that an heir will get on succession? I can't find that info in-game.
Anyone can explain?

What's a good way to disinherit/kill own child? I know I can disinherit them, but it cost 150 renown, wondering if there is an alternative...

Has anyone gotten the Crusader trait, or any Great Holy War trait for that matter? I won a crusade and my niece, who was beneficiary, got the Crusader Queen trait after becoming queen of the conquered Kingdom, but none of my knights got the Crusader trait. According to the wiki, the trait is in the game, but when I try to search for the trait nothing appears.
