Despite the error the launcher is at the latest version, so we can ignore that.

I'd fogotten you were on Windows 8.1:

I'm afraid you have 6 years of updates to apply! Or if you were ever thinking of going to Windows 10 I'd suggest now is the time!

Alright. This actually solved it. I have now installed Windows 10 and can now play it without any problems (yet). I'll guess I will make a new thread if anything else happens. I haven't even activated Windows 10, i just installed it for the time being and will get the full activation in the near future.

Anyhow thank you for your time, if anything it's been I have learned much more about these types of things and i hope it gives you guys some feedback on future tech problems !
