You made a typo.

Edit: I re-read HIP's culture localization file and it seems I've got some correcting of my own to do.

Hi! First of all this looks great. I'm dying to try out your mod. However whenever I start, this happens, any idea why?

I've been modding some changes in to improve historical accuracy, which I'll forward to you once I'm done with them, and I found this map of the German Ostsiedlung while doing research:

Unless you're otherwise informed, the expansion pattern of the Ostelbisch culture completely flies in the face of historical facts, starting from its point of origin in Prenzlau in 867.

Hi, I'm enjoying the mod. I just have a few suggestions.
I'd like to point out some inaccuracies in the Duchy of Munster.
The same issues (from 1066) were in either the HIP mod for Ck2 or CK2+ (can't remember which).

In the 936 bookmark:

The Eóganacht ruler should be the King of Munster, with the Dal gCais ruler his vassal. Not the other way around.

From the 1066 bookmark on:

1. The O' Brien ruler should hold both the counties of Ennis and Thomond.

2. The McCarthy ruler should hold the county of Cork and Desmond.

3. The O' Sullivan Bere family were in power in the county of Desmond from the late 1190s onwards. before this they were in power in the real life county of Tipperary, which is parts of the in game counties of Thomond, Ormond, and Ossory. Maybe they shouldn't be in the game until the 1204 bookmark.

The issue exists for the O' Briens and the McCarthys for all of the remaining bookmarks.

Thanks for reading.

I'll be honest. I'm American and can only read English so if people have other ideas I'm fine with looking into them. For the Ostelbisch I just used vanilla's timeframe for turning everything Saxon as all I did was change which culture tag was used for that date and overall I wouldn't be too surprised if it was wrong.

It's based on HIP though I did fix one issue which is due to the fact that CK3 Ireland has less counties than HIP. For now it's setup roughly like HIP with Ennis being based on where Thomond is in CK2 and 'Thomond' being based on Limerick. I'm wary of removing characters to give them to top level lieges mostly since in most cases the rulers just going to then give that title to a made up character anyway to not be over the demesne limit and so in many cases I'd rather titles be split up rather than all be under the duke or king

Province wise Ireland will probably be an area I'd eventually add baronies too so that it can have less massive counties.

Speaking of baronies. Overall that's something I'm slowly setting up though I'm not in any rush given I'm not super into CK3 and the first DLC is still forever away. To reiterate what I've said before when it comes to new baronies I'm only going to add them in set areas. While France could technically have 200 more tiny baronies it also then means you need to give everyone neighboring place 200 baronies and you end up at a point where going across northern France takes as long as moving across all of Tibet and it ruins a lot of the strategic gameplay. Overall I feel every county should have at least 3 baronies unless it's something like a tiny island with duchy capitals being at 4 with rare cases of 5 and Kingdom capitals being at 5 with rare cases of 6.

My overall mapping of the current baronies is here. I mainly use this to roughly eyeball placement.

I have sugestion
i like late scenerios but broken holy order are very annoying for me(maybe not only) so if you can add 1099 secnario or 1103(it's HIP setup if I'm not wrong) basically you no need to add landed Hospitaler and Templar Order becasue they was officially confimed few years after
This is controversial, but formally IMO makes sense and still we can enjoy crusader scenarios

Here's an enhanced Norse Split and a tweaked Rise of the Scots.

What kind of changes we talking? I tend to prefer people doing pull requests that way I check things things mostly since there are areas where things are altered for gameplay reasons

Well, at the moment I'm doing things like folding anything originally under the "frankish" tag under the "low_frankish" one, as the dialect spoken by the Salian Franks had evolved into Old Dutch by 867, and modding the Early Medieval cultural setup of Germany to better reflect its linguistic situation before 1050 and 1150, for High and Low German respectively. But if you're more confortable with pull requests, no problem. Do I need to create one for every file I propose canges to or can I bundle some together with the same request?

You can do multiple files at once.

It seems I've chosen well to upload the changes to the compatch before doing so with the mod itself, because the localized titles show up as code strings now. I'm already working to solve the problem.

I've completed the restructuring of the Central Germanic cultural map but I've got one last doubt. Since the Silesian culture is already present, should I also split off the Germanic Pomeranian culture from the "saxon" tag?
