After this new update we get bottleneck after bottleneck with electricity, it's now back to laying all kinds of electricity to get around it not only annoying but crazy too because it makes no sense it was working fine before the patch and now constant overload because of bottlenecks. Hope this gets looked at because now I have electricity lines everywhere

Add an option to disable the Chipper notification being displayed every moment, causing the game to often freeze for a short time.

Furthermore, even though city taxes are increasing, it is sometimes impossible to get money, while people who live in the city continue to request more services and expansion of the city.
There is quite literally already an option to disable the notifications. Your second complaint sounds like a skill issue

I was hoping I would see some improvement after the texture tweaks but no my city still looks like s***
and word when it will be fixed?

请修复莫名其妙的"重叠项目"?玩起来太令人沮丧了。
please fix the inexplicable "overlapping items"? It's so frustrating to play.

My population count is in freefall since reloading with the patch. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Perhaps it's due to the way the game simulation now runs. I might have to readjust my city.

Yeah I'm just really frustrated about it, so I'm latching onto anything I can to make the point. It's likely they're looking at fixing certain crashes and it takes time of course, but acknowledgement that it is an issue is extremely important, because if we go through months of this without any sort of communication, and we get more patches but the game still crashes on these systems, or causes BSODs, then it's going to be incredibly angering and make people feel like they're being completely ignored on what's an obvious issue.

A lot of folks are blaming the hardware, but it's a widespread issue, and it's ONLY with CS2 on every one of these systems based on the reports I've read. We need help, and it's just really annoying to play the game for 10-15 minutes and have the computer just completely restart.
if you haven't done so check the bug forums for those crash reports and see if they been marked confirmed
if not post or add to any that were posted and upvote them for more visibility

I myself only had 1 CTD and it was when I made massive changes to a city over 100k cims

Hi everyone. We have another hotfix for you today with improvements and bug fixes, see the list below for details. The patch is going on out Steam today, and we're working on bringing it to the Microsoft Store as soon as possible.

Please note! With existing save games, most simulation fixes require the simulation to run for a while to take effect.

  • Increased leisure probability to balance the "No customers" situation with commercial companies
  • Improved balance of companies' profit
  • Tuned down companies ordering input resources when their storage don't have enough space
  • Fixed trade resource bug preventing some resources from being consumed
  • Fixed miscalculation in college/university eligible count
  • Improved conditions for companies to move away when bankrupt
  • Fixed a dependency error with land value causing potential instability
  • Fixed an issue where loading a new map would cause water state to get out of sync with the save data
  • Slightly increased Windows emission intensity
  • Optimizations for area lights
  • Prefer rendering small objects after large ones when possible to improve GPU performances in some cases
  • Improved shadow LOD calculations to cull irrelevant shadow casters earlier
  • Reduced situations where trees and alpha clipped objects would lead to virtual texturing space running out
  • Fixed citizens hanging around at park areas on regular building lots never getting inside the building
  • Decreased resolution of unnecessary large character textures
  • Removed Spasm radio ad (due to offensive content)
  • Added missing localization ID for Paradox account linking
Hey guys, when can we expect an fix on the exports and the cargo ships not exporting anything?

You have a city with 667k population??
Would be very interested to learn about your PC (CPU, GPU, RAM), at which resolution you play and the FPS you have (and CPU / GPU load if available).

Good evening, first of all thank you for fixing the problems with the game.
Personally, since the update, I've had a lot of traffic problems, whereas before there were no particular problems, as if citizens were mismanaging their journeys. (Random lane changes, traffic jams and accidents ...)

What garbage issue?
This garbage issue:
On top of the performance work, we are looking into gameplay issues you have reported. We have fixes being tested for education, where college/university eligibility is not shown correctly in the UI, and for trading, where it looks like the citizens are not consuming all different commercial types correctly resulting in not enough customers for the local business. We are currently investigating a garbage problem and it seems that some citizens are abandoning their dogs resulting in a huge dog pack just stranded in the city. Not cool, citizens, not cool at all.
Somewhere in the bug reports you will find it.
TLDR for me: Garbage is not being collected, despite having more than enough facilities.

resolution won't change nothing if you are cpu bounded, when i reach the limit of my cpu, in 4k or in 1080 the fps are the same.

Complain to Microsoft about it being "not acceptable". Paradox submits the patch on the same day, Microsoft just takes their sweet time verifying and approving the patch. It's not Paradox's fault that it takes them a week to do so. And big companies like Microsoft aren't exactly known to give accurate responses, such as "the patch will be live in exactly 4 days and 20 hours!" :D

Xbox problem is not at Paradox/CO side, but rather an issue at how they deal with these things (and DLCs, etc...)

Please stop talking about what you don't know, and spreading misinformation. It's 2023, hating on Microsoft for no reason at all is no longer "cool".

Developing apps/games for Microsoft Store is absurdly well documented, it's like heaven for any developer compared to what other platforms sometimes have.

And on the app certification process documentation it's very clear mentioned:
This process usually takes 24 hours, though in some cases it may take up to three business days. After your submission passes certification, it can take up to 24 hours for customers to see the app’s listing.

To my experience the 3 days is a VERY EDGE case, it is usually 24hs or even less. The issue is when the update fails the certification due to some mistake by the publisher, which of course will require starting the process again - and there are very detailed pages explaining all steps and requirements for the certification and even a quick guide called "avoid common certification failures".

The fact that it took more than A WEEK for the first patch to be live on MS Store is a HUNDRED PERCENT on Paradox/CO for making some mistake on the patch submission, and failing the certification probably more than once (or not submitting at the same time at all due to some internal issue, who knows)

If the patch is live tomorrow at MS Store, or at worst Friday Sat morning, then is within normal process, if not, they made some error AGAIN!

Can anyone confirm if hte virtual texturing fix is referring to the bug where the game would suddenly make things black and/or super low quality at random, fixed by changing the mips setting in advanced graphics options?
