I don't understand the reasoning for no mods on Geforce - mods on GeForce work great, both through steam workshop (with workaround) or through Paradox Mods.

For example, Crusader Kings III has native mod support built into the launcher that works with Paradox Mods - it automatically downloads the mods from Steam/Paradox in GeForce Now before you can launch the game from the launcher itself. Doesn't make sense why CS2 would be restricted when another Paradox game isn't
Indeed, downloading mods is perfectly possible with Geforce Now. Map mods work fine, but Code mods don't because they need to restart the game. Let's hope Asset mods will work just as Map mods.

It's starting to become very frustrating. This has been said for a year already, and while I understand you can't share all details with us, I would hope for something more specific. GFN is my only chance to play this game - a game I love - and whats essentially happening is that we are getting more and more excluded from the game. Im happy for everyone that gets to explore these new regions and assets, but for GFN players - is it too much to ask for a proper official message on this. At least we can feel heard on the topic, if nothing else. Is it coming in 2025?

Please correct me if im wrong and these new regions/assets will be playable for us as well. Thank you.
I think Paradox can not admit officially that any mods are supported on GFN. Map mods work well, but Code mods don't (because the game needs to restart, which ends the GFN session). I hope Asset mods will work the same way as Map mods. It is completely up to Paradox to decide how they want to implement it. But I'm optimistic. We'll know on Monday!

Thank you for the info, I haven't used asset mods before. Much appreciated! :)
there arent assets yet officially, thus all assets are classified as "code mods". They disable achievements.

We will have to see how the region packs are implemented, but they shouldn't disable achievements, not just according to me but how they implemented it in the first game and planned for the second.

Hopefully not a stupid question, but since the regional packs will be available through Paradox Mods, does this mean that you have to play modded in order to use them, or can they be used for a vanilla game?

If I cant use these new assets on geforce now I am done with this game. I have a console I wish I had a super computer geforce now is the only way I can play. The devs over at Frontier are brining Planet Coaster 2 on consoles. You guys over promised and reality is kicking in.

I should emphasize one little detail of my last post:

Its bugged for me. Buildings do not apear, only the terrain. Is it normal for you? Maybe it a mod I am using
I had a very hard time to even get it downloaded and installed. Took me over an hour to get it to basicly work and still it sometimes gives an error. I think its because the servers are stressed because of massive downloads overloading the servers. But that's just a gues.
