It does feel like, to me, that tinto talks has slowed down a bit. Like they're running out of things to talk about (there hasn't been a proper, meaty, new, mechanical dev diary since the weather system one (#52) over a month ago)
As per TT53:
Now we have gone through the core mechanics we have for Project Caesar. The next few weeks we will go through all the changes that have happened during this year, thanks both to your great feedback and from internal and external testing. After that it's time to go through the mechanics of the different religions, the different situations and the different international organizations we have!
So, while those "proper, meaty, new, mechanical" TTs are indeed over, we still have quite a lot of content to go through with situations, IOs and religions.

How often does one come up? I signed up a couple weeks ago, I'm curious about my chances.
in the last year (since may 2024), I got 4 mini polls (what do you play, how long, how many hours in total), resulting in 2 invites and 2 rejections. The year before, I had 2 and 2 rejections. It is not that often.

Human sacrifices have been occasionally mentioned, so would not be surprising to have one for Nahuatl. Could be some for other New World religions or African religions. Perhaps even one for European Paganism. I don't think there will be one for Norse, they'll leave some mystery around that. Given that there has been quite a bit of interest for Judaism, would not be too surprising if it gets its own TT.

If it has mechanics they'll show it, otherwise they won't. I doubt they will have mechanics for something its not even playable i dont think? Like judaism. I'd be surprised.

Johan did mention that all religions have different bonuses however if they do not have own mechanics so he might do a post mentioning all the smaller "major" religion that do not have mechanics to show their bonuses but to be honest I'd leave that as a surprise. No feedback needed its something that can be changed quickly after release.

The only thing I expect is that @Old_Sealand will be waiting tomorrow at 14:00 to post "Wow" on the imminent announcement thread
Consider the previous request/warning/'Make it Stop!' to still be current.

Wonder if moderators would find out about an upcoming announcement from a private message, or a message on their own forum: "All right guys, I expect all of you present and sharp at x o'clock on x th of x month! Something big will happen then. You know I can't tell you what and you know you can't guess. All I can say is that you must be prepared to ban tons of wowers!"

Doubt moders have access to private conversation due to data protection but even if they do, then the devs would definitely not discuss it on the forums private message. Especially when they work together at the office and would all have internal email system

But if I were to work as a moder i would definitely demand early access to all this stuff :p

From the TT on religion (can't do the fancy quote thingy for some reason):

"Right now, we have made unique mechanics for Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Miaphysitism, the various Protestants, Muslims, Buddhists, Shinto, Nahuatl, Hinduism & the Inti religion. Each of these will get their own unique later development diary."

Since then they've mentioned mechanics for Mayan and I believe Tengri. It's entirely possible they've added mechanics to other religions as well since that TT. But they basically confirmed no African religions will have mechanics on release. Judaism probably won't be a priority either. I could maybe see Romuva getting something, but then again they should be Christianized early on in the vast majority of games.

Don't worry. Even without Old_Sealand to say it, I'm sure we will all be wowed by the game's announcement.
Man, I wish I had enough photo editing skills to replace the date and headline on this newspaper. This could have been perfect.
