I think its obvious they want to get it over with as soon as possible so they can line it with the release and dedicate those last 2 months before release just to get it ready, with all the feedback already in, as there is a lockup period before release where no more changes can be made.

And that's when we will get the last few deb diaries on modding, achievements, 3d assets, music etc etc.

Not sure how many Tinto Flavours are left and how many months would it take before they are through with them at this rate of 2-3 per week but I'd say we might be done after the summer.

Not sure however how many topics and religions are left to shown in the Tinto Talks before we go into the last ones i mentioned though.

Let's try and see:
-Orthodox/Miaphysite mechanics (confirmed for next week)
-Islam mechanics (might be split in Sunni and Shia?)
-Buddhism (possibly split into Mahayana and Theravada?)
-Shinto (possibly grouped with Buddhism? Might depend if Maha and Thera have separate mechanics)
-Inti/Nahuatl (could be 2 separate ones?)
So 5 (maybe 4) TTs, to cover all the religions that had unique mechanics a year ago, at the time of TT13.
Then for other religions might have gotten their own mechanics since:
-Romuva: likely
-Zoroastrian: somewhat likely
-Mayan: somewhat likely (but would share its TT with Inti and Nahuatl if so)
-Nestorian: could be, but it would have been in next week's TT if so
-Other pagan religions: not very likely. Most were added months ago only, and iirc the devs said they wouldn't give unique mechanics to dozens of small paganisms at release. In the other ones (present on the TT13 map), we could expect Sami Shamanism (would share its spotlight with Romuva), and possibly some North American collection, or Asian collection (Bon/Satsana Phi/Moist...)
I would bet on 6-8 TTs on that side.

For unique mechanics and IOs: most IOs will be in relevant TFs, like the Ilkhanate was. But some still would get their own TT. I'd wager on:
-Empire of China: definitely deserves a TT, unless we get a giant TF also covering all the flavour specific to Yuan and Ming and Qing.
-Crusades and Jihads: mentioned but never fully covered.
-BBC gameplay: self explanatory. Could be split in several parts (Banks/Trade companies/Trade leagues).
-Very likely more I can't think of rn.
So 3-4 TTs here at least. (Tatar Yoke and Shogunate/Daimyos would be part of the Golden Horde/Japan TFs though.)

Then some situations might have their own TTs. Unless we get TFs dedicated to situations entirely? Not sure about it. But here are the situations that don't fit into a specific country's TF well (unlike Timur or Fall of Delhi):
-Columbian Exchange
-Hundred Years' War? (feels odd to have it in just England's or just France's TF, and both those have way too much other flavour to share a single TF. Plus it's kinda a flagship situation for the game.)
-Italian Wars
-Black Death (not sure about that one, after all the content creators showcased it)
-Guelfs and Ghibellines (makes no sense to tie it to a specific Italian minor's TF, or - even worse - to the formable Italy's TF.)
-Revolutions
We can get 5-6 more TTs here. Unless, again, we get situations TFs later down the line.

Total: 14-18 TTs. Which brings us to 21-22 with the art/achievements/modding talks.

Therefore, the game will release in 23 weeks exactly, on the 29th of October 2025.

I bet that the England and France flavor talks and the Hundred Years' War TT will be among the last TFs and TTs we will get

Probably in-line with release, but wouldn't be surprised if someone (especially from this thread) is working on one with nothing but screenshots of countless content videos lmao.

Unfortunately not all PDX players are so...mentally complex anymore, but like 99% of the forum user still are (I ofc am one of them). Keeping the old flame alive.

The increase of dev posts is most welcome, but it's not enough. They only show us what they want to show us. In order to know the truth we need to send a delegation which will go to Tinto HQ and inspect everything, to make sure everything is top quality and the game will exceed everyone's expectations. We'll do it out of love for EUV and to help Tinto achieve a glorious success. Which forum members should be part of that delegation?

I do not need to see the kingdom of Heaven to have faith in the Lord. Have trust and Tinto will deliver us from our sorrows through the miracle of Tinto Talks.

History has been made, we have become the most watched and active thread of this forum.

Let's mark this event with the 2 things that united us in the first place when we first launched EU4 : Numbers and History

The numbers
I scraped every post of this thread with a python script and compiled everything in an excel. I then used AI to identify spikes and make a summary of what happened. I also added some events that i personally remembered and thought deserved their place. I finally added everything on a graph which gives us this beautiful piece of history :

The craziest of the crazy
The total post count of every active members. You can see me sittings nicely at 13, at the border between sane and lost for ever.

The history
I asked the AI to summarise the spikes and give them titles which you can find on the graph. The complete summary is available here.

Top 10 Spikes in Forum Posting Activity

1. Mar 30, 2025 – 90 posts

Catalyst: Influencers visit dev studio (Project “Caesar” hints). The thread kicked off as several prominent Europa Universalis IV content creators were spotted in Barcelona at Paradox Tinto’s studiofile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. This surprise gathering convinced the community that a big EU5 reveal was imminent, quashing notions that the sequel was years awayfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. Users immediately erupted in excitement – “Guys, it’s happening. C’mon get hyped”file-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1 – signaling a surge of hopeful speculation that the official announcement was right around the corner.

2. Apr 1, 2025 – 122 posts

Catalyst: April Fools’ Day speculation and dev diary timing. In early April the forum saw fevered theorizing about an announcement coinciding with April 1st. Some joked (and worried) that Paradox might drop EU5 on April Fools’ as a prank, while others dismissed that as unlikelyfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. Instead, many expected news in the first week of April, perhaps timed with the final “Tinto Talk” developer stream (dev diary) on April 2ndfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. The date’s significance (April 1, 1444 is EU4’s start date) and a history of Paradox date-related jokes kept fans chatting, though ultimately no announcement came on April 1 – the speculation itself drove the posting spike.

3. Apr 28, 2025 – 94 posts

Catalyst: A leaked (and fake) EU5 logo causes frenzy. On April 28 a supposed leak of the EU5 logo/key art hit the thread, sending users into a tizzy. Someone shared what looked like an official image confirming “Europa Universalis V,” prompting many to celebrate that the game’s title was finally revealedfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. The forum exploded with hype and confusion; some doubted its authenticity (joking it might be a board game or a hoax)file-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. Indeed, within minutes the original poster confessed it was a prank – he had fabricated the logo teaserfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. This false alarm still fueled excitement and reinforced the sense that a real announcement was very near.

4. Apr 29, 2025 – 72 posts

Catalyst: Backlash and impatience after the logo hoax. The day following the fake leak, discussion spiked as fans clamored for official news to end the uncertainty. Frustration was evident: one user half-jokingly threatened to “boycott” EU5 if Paradox didn’t announce it that weekfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. Others urged calm, noting that all signs (creator visits, SteamDB updates, leaks) clearly indicated an announcement was imminent – “it’s kinda obvious we are close… People just need to wait and see”file-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. The community was essentially demanding Paradox “get on with it,” having collectively convinced themselves that announcement week had arrived.

5. May 2, 2025 – 235 posts

Catalyst: Feverish rumors, memes, and “next week” running joke. With still no announcement by early May, the thread’s activity reached a comedic peak. Users started posting absurd placeholder dates and codes (e.g. “25.05.2025” or even “25.25.2525”) to satirize the endless waiting and wild theoriesfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1file-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. The community embraced a tongue-in-cheek meme that the announcement was perpetually coming “next week” – no matter how many weeks passedfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. This self-aware humor, dubbed “schizoposting” by participants, kept the hype alive and the thread extremely active. It was clear everyone was impatient yet excited, using jokes and speculation to cope with the delay.

6. May 3, 2025 – 76 posts

Catalyst: Release-date guesses after hints of gameplay videos. The speculative frenzy continued into May 3 as fans processed new hints. Word spread that around eight YouTubers had recorded full 30-minute EU5 gameplay videos (from the March studio visit), suggesting the game was far along. This led to debates on how soon release might follow the announcement – some argued that if creators can show substantial footage, a summer 2025 release could be possible, while others bet on a fall launch (one user noted the EU4 anniversary in mid-August as a fitting release target)file-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. In-thread chatter analyzed every clue: if content creators were ready to roll, perhaps EU5 was nearly finished, but if Paradox was holding back certain dev diary topics, maybe release was a few months out. These discussions kept activity high even without any official word yetfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1.

7. May 6, 2025 – 150 posts

Catalyst: Pre-announcement buzz and event tie-ins. By May 6, anticipation was at a boiling point with the community certain an announcement was days away. Users realized that PAX East 2025 would begin on May 8, sparking theories that Paradox might reveal EU5 there or even have it playable at the conventionfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. Discussion also focused on Paradox’s likely strategy: many expected the announcement that Thursday (aligning with weekly dev diaries) along with a release date reveal, perhaps aiming for Q3 2025. Some even speculated about an open beta or early-access period post-announcement. In essence, every hour felt like “calm before the storm,” and forum members were trading last-minute predictions and hopes, driving a notable spike in posts as the rumored reveal drew near.

8. May 7, 2025 – 143 posts

Catalyst: Last-minute leaks (announcement image) the night before reveal. On May 7 (the eve of the expected announcement) an unofficial leak gave the community a sneak peek, kicking off a final burst of activity. A user shared an “announcement image” (reportedly the key art for the reveal) that had surfaced, calling it the final promo image for the gamefile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. Excitement and spoiler-warnings ensued – moderators and insiders implored others not to spread details from the leaked content, since the official event was only hours away. At this point, fans already knew multiple preview videos were queued up and even joked that someone found an unlisted YouTube video “16 hours too early.” This brief spike was the forum collectively holding its breath: eagerly digesting the leak while counting down to the official announcement scheduled for May 8.

9. May 8, 2025 – 406 posts

Catalyst: Official announcement day – trailer & previews released. This date marked the crescendo of the entire thread. Paradox officially announced Europa Universalis V on May 8, unveiling the game publicly and ending the long wait. The impact on the forum was enormous: as a live stream and trailers went up, over 7,000 viewers tuned in and the thread exploded with reactionsfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. Users immediately dove into discussing the revealed features, mechanics, and visuals – finally seeing the 3D map and new systems that had only been rumors. Hype was at an all-time high; people were joking about pre-ordering ultra-deluxe editions on the spotfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1, celebrating that “it’s happening” for real. This was by far the largest posting surge, fueled by genuine excitement and relief that EU5 was no longer just speculation. The dominant themes were first impressions of the game and joy that years of anticipation had paid off.

10. May 23, 2025 – 94 posts

Catalyst: Post-announcement community rally (“hopium” and forum games). Even weeks after the reveal, the thread spiked again on May 23 – this time driven by community antics rather than new info. With no fresh news, fans turned their energy inward: they playfully coordinated to overtake other popular threads’ reply counts, treating it like a competition to prove their hype was the strongestfile-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1. During this surge, members also shared snippets from the official Europa Universalis Discord’s feedback channel (where developers were interacting with fans)file-3xrzzndmutf3goiarvc9f1, seeking any extra insight. Mostly, though, this burst was about camaraderie and shared excitement. Users cheered that they had “defeated the Behemoth” (out-posting the other topic) and joked about clinging to hopium, showing that even after the announcement, the community’s speculative spirit and enthusiasm remained very much alive.

I'm adding the source data here so people with more experience with statistics can work with it, it's the first time I'm doing something like this and I'm sure there is a lot more stuff to uncover.
