I have installed this mod and it rotated my map 90 degrees so my city is under water now, is there a fix to rotate it back with or without the mod, my backups have the rotated maps too and i dont want to click on my last back up just in case it rotates that one too

Sorry, this mod cannot be used with vanilla game saves; you must use a new custom map. If you need to use old saves, please completely remove this mod from your playerset or unsubscribe.

I observing a strange behavior in helicopters and planes. Helicopters of hospitals, fire departments or police stations flying always to a specific point on the map before they heading to their destination. The same procedure before they reture to their stations. Also planes assigned to a airport route firstly fly to this point before heading to the assigned outside connection.

The best is... you can use maps not created with this mod but you'll have to adjust a few things or remove them such as roads as they go wonky.

But it seems that although map tiles will stay small, you can build freely outside of them! You'll have to build your own outside connections (and that border is not visible but easy to find).
U'll have to place resources all over again as that gets wiped out.

Beside those few inconvenience things... interesting :)

Or maybe those resources don't get wiped out - i was possibly checking a map done shitey by whoever it was.
Just checked my map... the whole map is stretched to meet those new boundaries (in my case i like it cos it was originally 1:2 scale so it felt small).
Networks need to be removed and you'd have to start again but that's... well... not much work to do in this case.

I am using this on a flatsh map that has a river. The water is complex, and you cant place water outside the original playable area. but this is one of the coolest mods to date. The game should have been playable like this from day one. very nice work and thank you
I can do it as of today.

It seems to work on a flat map.

On sloped terrain though I get quite some blue mantle at the seam of roads or train tracks, they don't sufficiently integrate with the terrain. Also saw voids under roads and even some shark teeth biting into the side of a road.

Road retention walls integrate well with the terrain, but that's of limited use as they prevent zoning. Might be sufficient for flat maps as the walls allow avoiding earth ramps or dams when elevating roads and train tracks.
yeah... what i got is basically the same map but stretched to the new boundaries - so whatever was originally within 440 tiles, is now much more massive but the networks stayed in same place (roads, water pipes), therefore you got what you're saying because they try to follow their original terrain height i think.
This part needs to be re-done by yourself.
The same with trees.

planes and i ships outside connections need to be deleted and placed again too.

Not much work left to do to have a great fun :)

Can I say the mod's map is 4 times the size(length) of the vanilla version in every way?
Length----MapSize-----Map tiles(Suburbs)-----
Vanilla 14km?? 57km??
x4 x4
MapExt 57km 229km

我是否可以简单的说地图各方面都将是原版的四倍吗?(每边边长)

It feels about right... slightly more than 4 times I think... or maybe exactly 4 times.

To be precise, the buildable area with the 57KM mod is about 3249 km² and more than 15 times larger than a conventional map without this mod. By default, you have a buildable area of about 207 km² in vanilla.

Thanks for spotting the issue! After a thorough check, I found that there really is a deeply hidden hard-coded problem with the flight route calculations. it will fix in the next update.

First of all, thank you for your tireless efforts and dedication, mod author.
Secondly, I would like to report two issues I encountered while using this mod. When enabling this mod:
The first issue is that when placing the ‘Groundwater Pumping Station’(“地下水抽水站” in Chinese) building, regardless of where it is placed, it displays ‘No Groundwater.’(“无地下水” in Chinese) Even when forcing it to be placed using the Anarchy mod, the building cannot supply water normally.
The second issue is that when using the terrain tool, the edges of the shapes drawn appear jagged, making it impossible to draw smooth straight lines or curves.
These two issues, which can also be considered bugs, are the problems I encountered while using this mod. I look forward to seeing your mod become even better and more refined! Once again, thank you very much.

Read the mod description on PDX mods, those and other issues were stated, it's also experimental only.

Of course, I have read those instructions carefully. I'm writing this now simply to provide feedback to the mod author about the issues I encountered, and to wish the author continued success in improving this mod.
