1.08 Beta6 coming.... package temporary suspended
To be installed over 108 Beta (this package includes Beta 2-4 changes)
A fresh install would be vanilla AoD -> 108 Beta -> 108 Beta 5

Fixes:
AI allocates IC for reinforcements when it is needed
Hostile front attrition only if enemy land units nearby
Trade convoys are automatically merged if more than five with the same country
Flak firing animation no longer displayed in Fog of War
Fixed parameter "size" for "province_building" trigger
"max_AA_level" from AI files is now properly used
When a country is puppeted, remove embargos with the master and new allies
Unit names are no longer truncated at production, resulting in duplicate unit names
Fixed command "construct" with "where = -4"
IC no longer stuck in reinf/infra/upgr if 0 needed and at war
Reduce the amount of IC invested in CG if there is a money stockpile large enough
Exp forces manpower calculated against the original owner
Exp forces leaders should return to their original countries when units destroyed

New features:
Added Create Supply Dump function
Added Return Stockpile function
New game option "Enable historical leaders deaths" : every ten days the death date of a leader is checked against the current year and if it coincides there is a probability of death, chance being a linear formula from 0% on first day to 100% in the last day of the year
New game option "Historical events outcome" : when AI is presented an event with multiple options, the option with the highest probability is selected automatically
New filters in trade screen: allow to filter countries by resources
Added river tooltips

Community fixes by Denniss, Pang Bingxun, Pioniere

In green are the changes from the previous Beta 4

AoDGame.zip: exe hotfix - simply replace the exe - starting new game not required.

works like a dream, btw

gunman fastest patcher in the west. *bang*

Minor issue for Pang to check:
jap_1936.ai: duplicate infra_provs entry for 1183. Please check if another province was intended.
ai_disbanding.txt: 3x wrong use of division_exists - two ids have to be used, the nation id and the unit id (see scenario file for the complete id of the target unit).

Attached is a leader file with fixed entries, most of the newly added leaders lacked a section (I assumed it was the experience section with 0 as value.
UPDATE: chinese 1936 scenario files attached, the IC builds lacked ID and name entry.
UPDATE #2: fixed the 1936 CHI scenario files, I used a wrong type-ID (some kind of autogenerated ID type), province buildings now use a proper country-specific type-ID.

About exp forces leaders, this one I hadn't the chance to test...

With all this patching I didn't have the time to play the game.

is it possible to use this with 1.08beta 4 games (ie save game compatible?). if yes i'll find out.

I´ve enabled historical options. On JUN 23 Guanxi declares war on NAC. On JUN 27 NAC offers peace, Guanxi accepts and one day later Guanxi is annexed by NAC. That seems a strange event chain if it´s WAD. Why is there in the first place?

Well, Guangxi is unable to supply its own troops without the help CHI. As the war will cancel the supply imports from CHI the Guanxi units will starve. The annexion is the best alternative. Anyway, i like to add a 10% dissent hit for each Warloard CHI annexes via event. Right now CHI seems a bit too strong. The dissent in the early war will help JAP to reach Nanjing. An the nanjing massacer will reduce the dissent by 20.

Starting a 1936 Campaign shows id is used already or something like this one hour after the start. Not using those unnecassary(?) entries helps.

Can someone comment on these two new additions - how are they supposed to be used?

Added Create Supply Dump function
- this option is enabled on a province with port that you or your allies control. It will create a supply convoy from your mainland to that province only if you have any unit lacking oil or supplies in that province or in a path to that province. For example as UK, move your mediterranean fleet at sea until it runs out of supplies, then base it in Corsica. It will stay there out of supplies since France do not ship anything there as there are no French units there. Using create supply dump you will be able to convoy oil and supplies to Corsica.

Added Return Stockpile function
- this should allow you to create a convoy that transfers an existing stockpile from a province with port that you control to your country stockpiles. For example as UK you start with a quite large oil stockpile in Belfast serving no purpose there. You can use this function at the start of the game to transfer that stockpile to your stockpiles :)

Yep, right now (mid 1938) CHI has 95 INF against 40 JAP INF. JAP has launched an amphibious assault on the Nanjing area and another one on the former Guanxi region. Both were contained by CHI, which now has more than 50 available IC and is busy building three serials of mountain troops (apart from one serial of HQ, two serials of airfields and one IC).

This is my bad. I had fixied that but forget to include my own last set of changes. By increasing the japanese Inf production CHI suffers heave losses against those 80-100 Infs the japanese AI can support. But Japan tends to run low on oil in 1938. Is this a serios bug?

JAP has some 4000 oil, but -348 cash. The Nanjing related events fired in late 1937 so this cannot be the reason why they lack money. BTW JAP only builds one serial of INF/ART and one serial of MAR/ART.

Money is no problem an neither is ic. japan tends to lack attempts to import oil as imports of energy, metall and rares are sufficient. Also convoys are sufficient.
