The other thing to keep in consideration regarding your aar is look at your view that is more often a better sign of your raedership than the 2 or 3 people who will pop in after each post and say "Good update :D "

Not in anayway shape or form. It is music to an AAR writter's eyes to see a small group of avid readers letting him know that his work is apreciated.

My Mexican would have died without the suport of Kilgore, MuaDib, El Basto, Backfire, Zucker, to name the main readers at the start.

I was simply pointing out that a lot of readers don't feel the need to post after an update, ie we have a lot of "Lurkers".

But I would caution anyone from following more than "a few" aar's and simply posting "Good Update" it could be seen as post upping.

A great way to be suportive and steer clear of 'dark side' is to explain What you liked in the update and perhaps make a sugestion so somesuch. Offer more feedback for us hungry aarthors to devour when we check the replies. :D

Again I apoligize Xizo, I look forward to your next update and I got your PM but it's late so I'll email you something friday when I have the day off.

A coughing fit overtook the prune once more as he glared at the worn pavement below. His eyes full of grief and sadness pivoted and glanced out onto his audience. "Tis, a hard tale to tell young ones. I would most appreciate any compensation you could provide for my time," the old man croaked in a low tone. Antonio smirked he had been wondering when the prune would request some currency. Fiddling with his change purse Antonio threw a silver coin onto the pile that was forming at the old codger's feet. A look of joy crossed the prune's face as he turned to face his audience. "Very well I shall continue then," he said in a murmur.

With war comes destruction. They have come hand in hand for all time. At this point in my tale the conquered areas of Peru began to complain about the war torn conditions. All whom complained about their situation expected to be ignored by the once hard and unfeeling government. The result was quite the contrary in December of 1937. When discontent about the meager amounts of industry arose actions were actually taken to alleviate the problem. Meaning capital was invested and resources instituted for such a purpose. Factories were built in war torn areas to help the devastated local economies bounce back into working order.

It was quickly becoming obvious to the people of Peru that the once epic war machine was slowing, grinding to a halt. With Brazil and Argentina as neighboring nations' room for expansion was quite limited. Upon December 1, 1936 a series of government officials gave speeches introducing the general public to new policies and ideals. Among such reforms and shifts in views' was a turn away form neutrality in the Great War brewing across the Atlantic Ocean. Field Marshal Palos spoke these words relating to plans for the future.

A wide and desolate ocean separates Peruvians' for the tyranny of Adolph Hitler. Yet still his actions can not be taken lightly in the mind of my fellow man. We shall condemn his treatment of the Jewish German population. As well we shall cast shame upon him for his recent declaration of war against the peaceful state of Luxemburg. The world churns with ferocity my fellow Peruvians. In this time of trouble we shall not stand docile. No, we shall oppose tyranny and topple the German nation with the aid of our steadfast allies.

Young ones, you may have drawn for the speech I have just recounted to you now that Peru had chosen an allegiance in the Great War? If so, you are indeed correct. After careful consideration of the consequences that would happen if such an action was taken my leaders decided upon aiding the allies as they referred to themselves in their quest to destroy the Axis of Evil. This event was the news of the year in Peru and great celebration and fanfare were had when an official announcement was made to the general public.

Not all events that accompanied the declaration to join the allied cause were cherry and good. Many in fact drove fear deep into the minds of Peruvian citizens. Now with hardly any naval forces to protect themselves and a thinly spread army we had to protect ourselves as best we could. Furthermore the nation towards our southern border known as Argentina was making startling diplomatic maneuvers. Among them was an attempt to join the Axis of Evil. While negations were failed upon their first attempt another was well in the works. Startled by this information Palos fearful of Argentinean wraith marched his troops south toward the shared border.

Time is a mysterious object of human creation. It reveals all too mortal men in due course. Now with much to lose and little to gain Peru was held at its’ mercy awaiting developments that would shape her future.

So you´ve joined the Allies. That´s good...

Although how are you going to get to Germany?? Because you are trying to conquer the world, right?
Are you trying to conquer Argentina? How are you going to do that?
Btw, good uppdate!

Baby steps...

First I can't tell you how I conquered Argentina as it is a big spoiler. I will say my plan is to get everything in the western hemisphere not Allied and then go from ther.

About the world conquest. I don't know looking at the other AARs about I.E. Greven's the "The Rise (and fall?) of El Diable" I though to write a script like that, but it is proving quite difficult. At this point I will settle for a nice socialist empire and the Axis at my feet. :D

Hey good arr so far... Can u try and tell use what ur coal, oil,ic,etc is like.. what ur decent is like... so we can better understand what ur country is up against... (pretty much how far are u from the bottom of the barrel... )

Sorry, i've tried to respond several times but....

*shakes fist at 'server is too busy' screen*

Excellent job. I am impressed. I wouldn't have thought that Peru would be able to go this far and now that you have joined the allies, the possibilities are endless. Peruvian sector in Berlin anyone? How about a Peruvian bi-plane dropping a large yield weapon over Tokyo?
